It's pretty impressive but why bother? Even if you got it working perfectly and wrote a firefox clone somehow it would still be running through minecraft so would be slow as hell. Why not work on making a minecraft internet protocol instead, then we can chat to each other through the craftinet and have websites and things :D

Im not going to jump to conclusions. I am JUST saying this.. It COULD be fake. All you would have to do to have this effect is print ("text") [enterkey] sleep(different#'s) repeat to desired effect. Way to just copy the source page of a website and paste it in a txt file that computercraft will read when you type "Print (insert name of program you created)". Yes for those of you who didn't know, you are able to write a program for computercraft in a txt file like any other program you would write. Very creative. You deserve a piece of cake for be able to trick a dumbass.

@gobrewcrew95 Let me lay this out to you step by step. I could make a program in lua that writes to a file "read [webpage url here]" then have it run a vb script. Vb script can, without a doubt, access a webpage and get the source. Then that vb script could write in that same file the source of a webpage. Lua could detect that the file has changed, read it, and print it to the screen. Remember to keep an open mind, espessialy with minecraft ;)

VBScript has only "ON ERROR" trapping, is not fully OOP (like JScript/JavaScript is) -- I could probably name a dozen more reasons. JavaScript is an open standard. Anything you can do in VBScript, you can do in JavaScript whether it's WSH, browsers and beyond.

The potential here guys isn't displaying a website in minecraft... the potential here is dynamic communication between separate and independent worlds. Think of it like this:

Joeshmuck1: Connects to an IP address

JoeShmuck2: Connects to the same IP and connects with Joeshmuck1

JoeShmuck1: then starts the Quarry, automated smelting and railcart system on Joesmhuck2's world. Then writes a welcome message on a redstone display for all of Joeshmucks2's server to see.
