As a RE fan, I really don't understand why people are complaining how the RR franchise changed. A game has to obviously change overtime to give gamers different experience. I honestly would not like to have every RE game with an overview camera filled with puzzles and slow zombies. Can't wait for this game! (:

No. But is it going to affect my decision? Yes it is, quite a bit. Cut scenes i didnt enjoy the art style too much, but what im referring to are the action scenes of gameplay. some of the sequences you can tell less work was put into graphic detail. Will i still play this game? prob.

I read Sherry Birkin will be in the game. Along with past RE game characters. Did anybody play RE Dead Aim? There was a character named Fong Ling, a chinese secret agent, who was playable in the game. Well she will be in Chris's part of the game since it takes place in China. Guess who else? Steve Burnside who was a character that died at the end Of RE Code Veronica. It is unclear whether the girl on the trailer is Ashley Graham or Sherry Birkin but it's a fact they both will be in RE6.
Unfortunately after Resident evil 3, capcom definitely forgot the essence of R.E "Resolve Secrets, read all clues and diarys to solve puzzles, scary entrances and of course hard boss's".Today R.E is all about graphics and shooting in scenarios of Battlefield but with one extra "Zombies"
It looks like Leon's part of the game will be more horror like RE2 and Chris's will be more action like RE5. I'm okay with that. Besides there's zombies now. It will a great game just like RE2 or RE4.
The new guy at 1:58, could it be possible that might be Alex Wesker??? One of the surviving Wesker Children?? I mean he pulls off those kung fu moves that were kind of similar to Wesker's. And at 2:27 he mentions something about his blood? A cure?
i purchased RE5. A lazy rehash of part 4. I'll waite capcom. I brought of number of their games of late and i was hit by boulder sized drop in overall quality: story, gameplay, investing the player in the world.

If Claire was the main character of the game then yeah I would believe that she is Sherry instead of Ashley. But Claire's not. Not saying that Claire isn't in the game. At this point nobody and I mean nobody knows expect for the people who are working on the game. And people, IGN, is not a reliable source. You might as well wait for Capcom themselves to release information about the character instead of going off a rumor.
I hate when I fart and some shit comes out. I think this resident evil looks amazing but still not survival horrorish enough... I don't know what to think about keep using that camera angle... from an action game point of view it is perfect but I don't know.. resident evil is about being scared and puzzled.. I'm glad those are actual zombies and monsters you kill during the night, that's what this game is about..I wanna see the gameplay soon! I always sniff my fingers after scratching my balls.

To all of you fanboys. Of course this will continue they RE4/RE5 style, but that's only because the before RE4 capcom was releasing the same old tired gameplay style. I'm sure after this there might be a less crazy story to fit the more survival style. Who knows, maybe RE7 will be about avoiding thousands of zombies... with only a handgun? I don't know, I'd sure like to play something like that.

RE Operation Raccoon City not cannon but the game introduced old classic characters, and you can play as them. while RE6 has 3 playable character with 3 different atmosphere. horror-dark-scary atmosphere, it will be for Leon story. as for Chris, he is more to military, and the new guy (possibly Wesker's son) is more to run & chase.

It's gone downhill for a long time, RE 1-3 were godly! RE 4 was somewhat good, CV was good, I liked Zero but the other games are fucking terrible, The americans fucked up with the damn movies. I don't care if you can play as "classic characters" in ORC, I find it dull and more of a Left 4 Dead Copy than an RE game. RE 6 looks exactly like RE5 which sucked so much donkey balls that it's not even funny.

At first I was really excited about RE6. I thought I read somewere they would maybe go back to the old gametype. Where you had to save your ammo and sneak by zombies rather than shoot as many as possible and get points. I miss the game with pussles and mystiqe. This feels like a disepointment tho. I'm not gonna lie, it looks better than RE5. But still far from Code Veronica or RE: Nemesis. What happend capcom? What happend? :(
@Treety1791 the old game are great but combine with the next-gen mechanics, it won't be as great as before. 3rd person with on top angle with next-gen graphics it's just dumb. it will lack of everything. you can point a gun but you can't specifically aim. you can shoot but you can't move. Metal Gear Solid on ps1 using the same mechanics as RE game but they added the aim system. RE4 using the aim system but it's still 3rd person and you still can't move but Dead Space improved it.

To all of you fanboys. Of course this will continue they RE4/RE5 style, but that's only because the before RE4 capcom was releasing the same old tired gameplay style. I'm sure after this there might be a less crazy story to fit the more survival style. Who knows, maybe RE7 will be about avoiding thousands of zombies... with only a handgun? I don't know, I'd sure like to play something like that.

@feffecrazy what the fuck are you talking about? never ever include RE movie in this. cuz it isn't Capcom work. it's Hollywood. RE Operation Raccoon City not cannon but the game introduced old classic characters, and you can play as them. while RE6 has 3 playable character with 3 different atmosphere. horror-dark-scary atmosphere, it will be for Leon story. as for Chris, he is more to military, and the new guy (possibly Wesker's son) is more to run & chase.

It's gone downhill for a long time, RE 1-3 were godly! RE 4 was somewhat good, CV was good, I liked Zero but the other games are fucking terrible, The americans fucked up with the damn movies. I don't care if you can play as "classic characters" in ORC, I find it dull and more of a Left 4 Dead Copy than an RE game. RE 6 looks exactly like RE5 which sucked so much donkey balls that it's not even funny.

RE5 was good, but it isn't zombies, no BOW, that's what makes the game sucks. while RE6 combining old RE, RE4 & RE5. people who wanted the old RE feel, they should play as Leon. if they wanna play some military action, that's Chris. as for the new guy, possibly Alex Wesker, most of it would be run & chase, protecting the girl, somehow similar to RE4.

At first I was really excited about RE6. I thought I read somewere they would maybe go back to the old gametype. Where you had to save your ammo and sneak by zombies rather than shoot as many as possible and get points. I miss the game with pussles and mystiqe. This feels like a disepointment tho. I'm not gonna lie, it looks better than RE5. But still far from Code Veronica or RE: Nemesis. What happend capcom? What happend? :(

@Treety1791 the old game are great but combine with the next-gen mechanics, it won't be as great as before. 3rd person with on top angle with next-gen graphics it's just dumb. it will lack of everything. you can point a gun but you can't specifically aim. you can shoot but you can't move. Metal Gear Solid on ps1 using the same mechanics as RE game but they added the aim system. RE4 using the aim system but it's still 3rd person and you still can't move but Dead Space improved it.
