Ok I'm back again to comment ....I have watched this video at least 10 times I could watch him play his guitar every minute of the day. Incredible. I hope he does an all 'acoustic just him and his guitar' album some day..
Mike REALLY got into his music. His ability to make instruments, literally, sing is amazing. He takes each instrument, and takes it from extreme to extreme. Lows, highs, in betweens. Just like human moods, there are highs and lows. Mike is a wonderful musician. Move over Mozart and Bach, there's another composer/musician to join the ranks of the greatest music ever!
Its one thing to take someone else's music and put your own twist on it. Its even cooler to reinvent your own music and make just as good as the first time around! Fantastic!
I agree. Sparks did a similar thing in 1998 with their album "Plagiarism" where they did new versions of their previous hits, and it was issued on Virgin Records!

The new one is Tubular Bells II from 1993, from that time seems to be this interview, too, and it was released on CD (yellow bell on blue ground)

Yep, its the version he did in 1993. He was living in LA at that time. Right after that was the only time he has ever done a live concert in the US.

Bloody Hell! Ultimate guitar genius! Listen to where he plays Tubular Bells 2 at 2:20, I prefer it to the original.
