A completely new revision would be terrible. There's alot of broken things in this game, but we deal with it, and lesbihonest, we use alot of the broken elements ourselves. As for characters, they should release packs, say, for an $8 bundle, or their usual $5 each.

I want to see a real stroy mode because i think they could make it really unique int this game. On the capcom side though mega man sure why not no real big opinion but i want to see Camy, BB Hood, of course Ruby Heart, Sonson was interesting and there are no staff characters in UMvC.

For the Capcom side I would push for Gene from the game God Hand. The guy would fit perfectly with this game. Capcom wouldn't even have to work that hard making him, he has a huge move set so they could pick and choose what they want and make a unique character. All they would have to do is remix the ending credit song. If he got into the game, Capcom would have five bucks from me.
For Marvel I could see either Loki or Nick Fury, frankly I would prefer Loki because he actually has powers.
Max my choice dlc will be for marvel is psylock, gambit, venom and just for fun rouge as for capcom megaman or x either fine, hayato,jin and ruby heart

I don't know about Capcom so much.....but I'd love to see (for Marvel) loki, green goblin, doc ock, archangel, nightcrawler, Namor, Vision, Spot (from Spiderman) and Bishop to name a few. But I have to say I was very happy that they added my favorite comic book hero (Nova) and Dr. Strange. :D
This game would be so much better if there was an overall health increase/attack power decrease to extend the game time, and make it more of a "fight" and less of a "who gets the first hit". Also, JIN ALL DAY
the only thing i hate about marvel is when people hate on ur teams. i have wesker true but he's my first character not my anchor like every1 else dante is my anchor but frank usually dominates in lvl 3 and up 8)
Why are top ranked players so salty in this game I beat the number 8 ranked guy in the world today his gamertag is Crimson Fox 88 and the dude went on a TIRADE! I mean when I get my ass handed to me I take it and keep moving but this guy just wouldn't let it go. He kept saying how I was a noob and I'll never beat him again. I know Im not amazing good hell im only a 6th lord but he's a Master Lord and right now I'm feeling pretty damn good about it. Btw who all bought the Weapon Master pack?
mm maybe a survival mode ,for Marvel: Cable , Blackheart, Thanos ,venom/carnage yea just villains(hyper viper beam loop counts as a villain) Capcom: Bison, cammy, zangief ,Dimitri, dont like him but love to hit him "Megaman",there is a lot of "zombie theme" in the game so a new boss/gamestyle from Capcom like "Tyrant" if not , from the only comic i ever read "Marvel Zombies" Zombie Sentry and yes for all characters a costume zombie pack(the hole point of the survival mode)

From Marvel side: Return Venom, New Unique Characters: Green Goblin, Lizard or Carnage. Daredevil, who cares about him! he's not unique just another man. Capcom side: Mega manX for show. Rocket racoon was A Big Waste and Phonix Wright too 2 bad characters in my opinion.
I would love to see Carnage, Spawn and maybe even Daredevil. On the Capcom side i would be ecstatic to see Megaman .exe. I think he has ton of potential and capcom could do some great things with him..

I would really like to see Moon Knight. He could switch weapons like Ammy, and fight similar to Gambit. For Capcom's side, I would like to see the return of M. Bison, Juri, or Seth.
I would love to see cammy back, she was pretty solid out side of God Tiers and she was my fav char, taking out a whole team on rank by herself. But other than that probably capcom, cyclops, sakura maybe and hayato like you said, but with a huge buff since he is bad in MVC2
Also, I would really dig a DLC (yes, I would pay for this) to have character specific theme picking from previous versions. I love the new one, but I'm not sure anything tops Cap's theme from the original "MvC:CoSH". I would also appreciate a FREE PATCH so I can pick the old interface with the clean layout and small health bars over the distusting new one that just confuses shit.
Ken! For the love of god, they can't just throw Ryu and Akuma in a game and say "Well the shoto players will be fine." Ken's unique stuff from m"Marvel 2" would fit perfectly here, like his knockdown Tatsumaki, and aerila Shoryukens, and who doesn't miss the priority on that assist coming in, as well as the versatility of his hyper choices? Also, shitty as it was, I was a fan of the stylistic choices made with Guile (shorter charges, double connecting Crouch Roundhouse), so him as well.
I think they should keep Phoenix the way she was, I don't play Phoenix and I also hate ppls who play Phoenix, but to me that how Phoenix should be, she is a rage monster in Marvel world, she should be so in the game !!!
one obscure character i like to see from capcom is Seig Wahrheit from Chaos Legion. i think it would be interesting to see all of his legions doing crazy moves and probably fit well in the game

I'd personally like to see only two characters added that come to mind; First off, I think instead of putting in Venom, they should put Carnage in the game instead. I think it'd be a good mix. Also, I'd love to see Jin put back into the game. I loved him in MvC2 even if he wasn't the best. I thought he was badass in MvC2, and I think he'd be great in 3D, especially the whole mech thing. I'd also like to see endless arcade. No galactus; Just endless Arcade mode until you get bored.
I know a lot of people really hate the Sons of Sparda because they are really good, but as a fan it'd be cool to see Nero in the game because he would be a mix of Dante and Spencer, without a teleport. It'd just be cool to see, and of course if Capcom leaked a conversation before the match between Vergil and Nero, since Nero is Vergil's alleged son. I'm not good at the game, but I love playing it because of the characters in it and how they interact with one another. Nero would be sweet to see.
hhmm there are so many characters I would like to see in these game. Venom, Chuck Green, another megaman vote. But honest for capcom side I think if they add someone it should be another evil character someone they knew people will think is awesome. I don't much capcom badies by name but they should have one. I mean they have like 3 to marvels 7.
My brother had an idea to put Vile into the game. At first I was unsure then when we got into it, I REALLY want Vile as a character. Vile's Level ones could consist of his shoulder cannon and his level 3 be his robot suit and pull off moves like Tron Bonne. Alternates such as Megaman, Protoman, etc. And Venom or Gambit of course because Venom is easily my favorite villain and I'd probably count Gambit as my 2nd favorite Mercenary after Deadpool.
I was kind of offended when there was not even 1 new female character, at least 1 jeez that would be some nice dlc. Mystique,Rouge,Sakura,Cammy, its endless...
@MrAcwilcox 1) No sir, you can still do infinites in Ultimate (it's just not possible online because of lag). Either you're fighting against someone who crouch attacks every time you're 10" from the ground, or it's some guy who does normal > special > hyper in that order (but that's not the case).
2) Why is dashing canceled to a normal that's canceled to a dash?
3) Fuck yeah, in MK9 assists cost super, in KoF they have limited strikers. It'll make the game more balanced that way.

Remember those old trailers for vanilla? With Marvel and Capcom characters duking it out randomly? And then that one trailer where Magneto steals Wesker's T-Virus? I know it's not Capcom's style, but an actual storyline, or at least some extra modes to make the game feel more full would be nice. TvC had Survival mode, and that quirky little minigame even. Oh, and make Galactus playable for versus mode.
The only characters I want are Black Panther and Emma Frost. Outside of that, I just want more stages and replays. And of course, the usual character tweaks and whatnot (nothing too drastic, though).
Weskers glasses, gone. Vergil get nerfed. Some Hulk nerfs, that super-armor is crazy. Heroes and Heralds nerfs. I'd love to see Cyclops and Cable back, cause those were just amazing characters that completed the entire X-men regime in MVC2.
Capcom should use characters that would help advertise new games that come out this year. Like Asura from Asura's wrath and Leon Kennedy for Res 6. Marvel should push for the new venom, I mean who wouldn't want to see a gun based character with a bezerker transformation?
I do agree with you on the marvel aspect of things now that I heard your explanation. But if I did have a wish list on that side it really only would be Gambit and Venom (Anti-venom due to comics).
But on the Capcom I would kill for B B Hood back, due to the her being a veteran and good zoner game play and because of rumors of a darkstalkers game. Also if not her maybe Demitri, Jidah, or Pyron(especially due to fact he also consumes planets).
It would be great for some veterans to make it, but also it's hard to say no to a new face that can get a good shot in (I still hate Phoenix Wright). Gene from God Hand has some moves that can work for a fighting game. Maybe Scream the symbiote from Marvel to get a new feel. Spider Man 2099 could work with his alternate style of Spidey like Vergil to Dante. Or Sigma with his numerous bodies to choose from.
DLC for MvC3 I would like to see are of course more characters; my top picks being Darkhawk, Ms. Marvel, Black Cat, Date Masamune, Mega Man EXE, and Lady; but I also like to see more original stages like maybe one from Lost Planet and of course more modes.
I'd love venom, gambit, the red skull, and skadi from marvel. Protoman, gene, asura, and augus! Also colors for the other costumes ( STREET FIGHTER HAD'EM RIGHT OFF THE BAT!!!). H&H Two player modes. I can't think of anything else... BUT IT NEEDS MORE!!!
You hit it directly on the head with the capcom characters that I'd love to see, I also wouldn't mind another SF fighter maybe one of the newer ones or an old fan fav.

I think Cyclops is big enough in the Marvel Comics today to warrant a return. I don't know why Marvel didn't want him in despite the fact that he's had an incredibly eventful year, but I feel Cyclops would be amazing. He was my best guy and he's a nice somewhat normal, easy-to-use character for new players to use to get into the game. Avengers characters like Black Widow, Black Panther, Vision, Ms. Marvel (definitely), Ant-Man maybe, Wasp. I agree with the classic Capcom characters.
I agree with the damage decrease and have thought that for a while. I think a few character tweaks would also be a nice addition as well. Magneto getting a DLC costume would be a welcome addition. New characters would be nice, and some of the classic characters could make it in based on current Marvel popularity. Cyclops is still used quite a bit, but it would not be the "Jim Lee" art for the model. Black Widow would be the most likely Avenger, but she may play too much like Jill

First I want to address two series, Onimusha and Basara, both using historical Japanese figures as well fictional characters, so unlikely. Breath of Fire is a maybe but was dismissed early on I believe, that might change. Viewtiful Joe has possibilities
They will not include Venom because, here is a bit of Marvel lore for you, Eddie Brock is not Venom at the moment, he was Anti Venom but now separated even from that symbiote, the Venom symbiote was on Mac Gargan the former Scorpion, however Mac Gargan has returned to his role as the Scorpion and the symbiote is now on Flash Thompson. There is still Carnage who appeared as a downloadable character in Ultimate Marvel Alliance 2, but he is a very vicious character. Finally Toxin the son of Carnage
If Marvel won't guys like Venom and Gambit, they should add a Kree character like Captain Marvel or even Ms.Marvel (got powers by a kree) so we can have some awesome Kree vs Skull battles.

Why are top ranked players so salty in this game I beat the number 8 ranked guy in the world today his gamertag is Crimson Fox 88 and the dude went on a TIRADE! I mean when I get my ass handed to me I take it and keep moving but this guy just wouldn't let it go. He kept saying how I was a noob and I'll never beat him again. Also, I would really dig a DLC (yes, I would pay for this) to have character specific theme picking from previous versions. I love the new one, but I'm not sure anything tops Cap's theme from the original "MvC:CoSH". I would also appreciate a FREE PATCH so I can pick the old interface with the clean layout and small health bars over the distusting new one that just confuses shit.

Ken! For the love of god, they can't just throw Ryu and Akuma in a game and say "Well the shoto players will be fine." Ken's unique stuff from m"Marvel 2" would fit perfectly here, like his knockdown Tatsumaki, and aerila Shoryukens, and who doesn't miss the priority on that assist coming in, as well as the versatility of his hyper choices? Also, shitty as it was, I was a fan of the stylistic choices made with Guile (shorter charges, double connecting Crouch Roundhouse), so him as well.

I'd personally like to see only two characters added that come to mind; First off, I think instead of putting in Venom, they should put Carnage in the game instead. I think it'd be a good mix. Also, I'd love to see Jin put back into the game. I loved him in MvC2 even if he wasn't the best. I thought he was badass in MvC2, and I think he'd be great in 3D, especially the whole mech thing. I'd also like to see endless arcade. No galactus; Just endless Arcade mode until you get bored.

I know a lot of people really hate the Sons of Sparda because they are really good, but as a fan it'd be cool to see Nero in the game because he would be a mix of Dante and Spencer, without a teleport. It'd just be cool to see, and of course if Capcom leaked a conversation before the match between Vergil and Nero, since Nero is Vergil's alleged son. I'm not good at the game, but I love playing it because of the characters in it and how they interact with one another. Nero would be sweet to see.

My brother had an idea to put Vile into the game. At first I was unsure then when we got into it, I REALLY want Vile as a character. Vile's Level ones could consist of his shoulder cannon and his level 3 be his robot suit and pull off moves like Tron Bonne. Alternates such as Megaman, Protoman, etc. And Venom or Gambit of course because Venom is easily my favorite villain and I'd probably count Gambit as my 2nd favorite Mercenary after Deadpool.

Here's my suggestion for the next update:
1) Get rid of all inifintes: It's always been the aspect that breaks the game.
2) Get rid of the dash cancels: Seriously, stop spamming.
3) Make assists and team areal combos cost hyper: Having them for free is cheap.
4) Give us the ability to disable X-Factor: X-Factor's for pussies.
I don't care if you can do infinites in the older games, because back then, they were considered to be combo glitches.

1) I havent seen anyone bust a legit infinite on me or in pro tournies. You might be mistaking resets for infinites.
2) Clarify more please? Dashing is the most fastest/effective/safest way to get in.

4) Although X-factor does create some saltiness it adds many more exciting scenarios to the game.

@MrAcwilcox 1) No sir, you can still do infinites in Ultimate (it's just not possible online because of lag). Either you're fighting against someone who crouch attacks every time you're 10" from the ground, or it's some guy who does normal > special > hyper in that order (but that's not the case).
2) Why is dashing canceled to a normal that's canceled to a dash?
3) Fuck yeah, in MK9 assists cost super, in KoF they have limited strikers. It'll make the game more balanced that way.

Remember those old trailers for vanilla? With Marvel and Capcom characters duking it out randomly? And then that one trailer where Magneto steals Wesker's T-Virus? I know it's not Capcom's style, but an actual storyline, or at least some extra modes to make the game feel more full would be nice. TvC had Survival mode, and that quirky little minigame even. Oh, and make Galactus playable for versus mode.

I do agree with you on the marvel aspect of things now that I heard your explanation. But if I did have a wish list on that side it really only would be Gambit and Venom (Anti-venom due to comics).
But on the Capcom I would kill for B B Hood back, due to the her being a veteran and good zoner game play and because of rumors of a darkstalkers game. Also if not her maybe Demitri, Jidah, or Pyron(especially due to fact he also consumes planets).
Maybe Megaman but I honestly dont know.

It would be great for some veterans to make it, but also it's hard to say no to a new face that can get a good shot in (I still hate Phoenix Wright). Gene from God Hand has some moves that can work for a fighting game. Maybe Scream the symbiote from Marvel to get a new feel. Spider Man 2099 could work with his alternate style of Spidey like Vergil to Dante. Or Sigma with his numerous bodies to choose from.

I think Cyclops is big enough in the Marvel Comics today to warrant a return. I don't know why Marvel didn't want him in despite the fact that he's had an incredibly eventful year, but I feel Cyclops would be amazing. He was my best guy and he's a nice somewhat normal, easy-to-use character for new players to use to get into the game. Avengers characters like Black Widow, Black Panther, Vision, Ms. Marvel (definitely), Ant-Man maybe, Wasp. I agree with the classic Capcom characters.

I agree with the damage decrease and have thought that for a while. I think a few character tweaks would also be a nice addition as well. Magneto getting a DLC costume would be a welcome addition. New characters would be nice, and some of the classic characters could make it in based on current Marvel popularity. Cyclops is still used quite a bit, but it would not be the "Jim Lee" art for the model. Black Widow would be the most likely Avenger, but she may play too much like Jill

Address possible characters for Capcom, which of their game series have been included so far, Resident Evil, Ghosts & Goblins, Mega Man X, Street Fighter, Darkstalkers, Devil May Cry, Final Fight, Ace Attorney, Bionic Commando and Viewtiful Joe. First I want to address two series, Onimusha and Basara, both using historical Japanese figures as well fictional characters, so unlikely. Breath of Fire is a maybe but was dismissed early on I believe, that might change. Viewtiful Joe has possibilities

They will not include Venom because, here is a bit of Marvel lore for you, Eddie Brock is not Venom at the moment, he was Anti Venom but now separated even from that symbiote, the Venom symbiote was on Mac Gargan the former Scorpion, however Mac Gargan has returned to his role as the Scorpion and the symbiote is now on Flash Thompson. There is still Carnage who appeared as a downloadable character in Ultimate Marvel Alliance 2, but he is a very vicious character. Finally Toxin the son of Carnage
