Believe or not this was the way it was when I was a little boy. When company came to our house for a meal, they made us kids wait until the grown ups ate. When we had a revival meeting at our church, they always feed the preachers one day so the preachers came and stayed it seemed like all day. We had to be good and be careful what we said and when eating time came we had to leave the house and walk in the woods until they all ate and went out in the yard to talk. Then we ate what was left.
