  • I LOVE THIS VIDEO BECAUSEIIT SEEMED TO TAKE 4EVER BECAUSE OF HOW THE SUN STARTED TO GO DOWN BUT THE COLOR OF YOUR FACE THEN U TURNED THE LAMP ON.BUT UR HAIR TURNED OUT GORGEOUS!I JUS TWISTD MY HAIR YESTERDAY,.DIDNT TAKE THAT LONG BECAUSE ITS NOT AS LONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Finally! Someone trying this out for the first time with hair as long as mine.

  • Your hair is exactly like mine in length and texture. Thank you so much for doing these videos. I finally have some idea as to what to do with my hair.

  • PLEASE!!! If it take you 2hrs to do all that hair, then DO IT YOUR SELF!!! That's nothing-)

  • did you blowdry your hair before doing this?

  • lol!

it took her years to finish those long twists!

  • we have the xact same hair type and mine is starting ta grow like crazy finally :D its still growin out of the relaxed phase and i refuse to cut that relaxed hair off so of course it looks crazy but its long lol but yea i like waching what you do to yours n i cant wait till im all curled up again...btw you make me wanna go do my hair brb :) thanks for makin videos ma

  • It takes me also about 2 hours I make my twist pencil lead thin...

  • Good Job! I thought I would die laughing at it going from day to night while you twisted away! But if it only took 2.5 with the tons of hair you have, you did GREAT! It takes me just as long, and my hair is not as thick!

  • Lexi did you say 2.5 hrs? It takes me longer to do mine and my hair is only 5.5 inches long. That gives me hope though that when it gets longer I will be better at it and it won't take me as long to do them.

  • 2.5 hours is my average time for double strand twists. i love that style in and out

  • Wow!! Your hair is really growing like crazy....

  • You are a very brave person to twist all of that gorgeous hair:) I do not have that kind of patience, but I wish I did. Your style looks pretty.

  • Lexi, r u counting while twisting?

  • I noticed you have the Garnier fructris melting mask conditioner in the background I love that stuff!!

  • i haven't tried dry twists yet but i want to, yours came out really nice.

  • yeah, you just need some oil and conditioner on the end. I do my hair all the time and it comes out really nice. Also, mix in some moisturizing hair lotion.

  • If you wet your ends, put conditioner on them and seal them with oil they should coil up really nicely.

  • lexi love the hair girl i have been wanting to try the same thing i just been lazy but it looks good i saw from another video you can spray the ends with water to kinda give it curl def. looks great peace!!!!!!!!

  • They came out nice Lexi. You could pull your twists up into a cute bun for a little variation. I like the Lock and twist gel as well. It didn't leave my hair crunchy at all.

  • your hair has grown alot since you dyed it!

  • This looks good. You don't need rollers for the end...you just need to twist your finger around the end of the twist bring it to a point. This looks great on you though

  • you're twist came out really nice. Next time try setting the ends on rollers. It will give them a more polished, uniform appearance.

  • Try putting rollers on the ends or twirling them around your fingers with the gel

  • It's gorgeous...great job!

  • It looked really cute when you twisted it back...

  • they look great

  • i love your hair! good luck with the protective style.

off topic: what breed of dog do you have?

  • looks like a yorkshire terrier (yorkie ... hi hun :) )

  • it looks nice i just cant wait for my hair to be your length

  • can you share your thoughts on the lock and twist gel? is it hard, crunchy or sticky, does it flake or leave build up after a while??..etc etc..i think you did a good job for your first twist..prettydimples and especially kinkycurlyqueen has some great styles for twist...

  • I like it so far (lock and twist gel). It is very soft and not thick at all which I like. Its not sticky, but moreso like a gel/moisturizer. I will be able to better tell u tomorrow to see if it flakes or anything. Thanks, I will check on prettydimples and kinkycurlyqueens styles with twists

  • hey....do you still use the twist and lock gel?

  • i used that gel for a year or soon my locs. if you use too mcuh, it does kinda ball up and flake and it looks like you have dandruff! but thats ONLY if you use too much. but generally, i liked it a lot, the smell was decent and so was the price.

  • thanks:)
