  • "style"? "dangerous premise"? BWAAAHAHAHAHA !!!

how about "you have absolutely no idea what you are looking at " hahaha

  • please this is show guys don´t be so ignorant, I trained hkd for 10 years and my master is from korea and is 7 dan in hkd and 6 dan in tkd and 7 dan in isibsaban muye and they make exhibition like a show but they ahs control in each skill

  • 請問依首歌係叫咩名?

  • a show?

  • well, consoleman, you just don't know martial arts:this "demonstration" is dangerous in primis, and useless.check it out a real sesshin or Aikido for the differences..

  • they have no style..sorry!

  • idiots! this is very dangerous, they can brake arm of leg easily, i know it very well!

  • in sparring my sparring member almost broke my leg in hapkido...teacher said he got to serious

  • haha too funny xd

just becareful than is it al okeej;)

  • The song is Kim Hyun Jung - Separation with her.

    :D

  • gooks

  • shaddup bitch

  • What is this song please??thanx

    Very good

  • wooh self-defense is very nice .i like hapkido . and i like this song. it's very nice ,too.i want to know this song's name.who knows??can u tell me??

  • This is not a great demonstration of Hapkido. These men do not look like students of Young Sol Choi, or one of his direct students. These techniques are not sharp. They are not the profound basic and common Hapkido technique one expects to see. The movement is off sinc. Worse, they're basic kicks and punches are awkward which renders the entire techniqe ineffective either for demonstration purpose or real life (God forbid).

  • japan has a few unique martial systems, like aikido. kroea has two traditional unique systems, taekkyon and ssireum, china has its many forms of kf (using the term colloquially).

in the end, it doesnt matter where a martial art comes from, or even what martial art you are talking about - the practitioner makes the art, and he makes it his OWN.

  • Wisely spoken. I agree utmostly.

  • Woot!! I agree man(or woman im not sure which)=)

  • i think im a man... although im not so sure now :)

  • This looks like a Jin Jung Kwan demo. Is it?

  • Yes it's the Grand Master LEE Chang Soo demonstration team, all members are JIn Jung Kwan Master

  • anyone take hapkido??? anyone know grand master hwang in-shik? well if anyone wanna learn some moves msg me..cuz im learning from the master hwang in-shik he's currently in toronto right now...

  • Hapkido = Korea

  • I have a video group dedicated to the discussion of martial arts. We also hold discussions on martial arts videos posted on youtube. Please drop by and check it out. http://www.youtube.com/group/MMAA

  • damn i gotta learn this shit. i cud use it to fight niggers that bother me at skool

  • People like you is the reason that this country will never get rid of racism in this country. Also you need to learn how to spell "school".

  • hapki yoos sul is origanally from Japan, tae kyon [the style TKD is from] is origanally from korea and when GM han jae ji combimed the two he called it Hapkido, and then out of respect gave the name to GM yong sul choi even though choi was basically teaching aikido

P.S. it doesn't have kung fu in it for the tard that said so

  • you can not say hapkido came from aikido because then aikido, karate, and kendo came from the korean martial art from koryo to shila dynasty. You guys do know japanese people are people who came from korea..........

  • Finally someone made a good hapkido video. Good work.

  • hey anyone knows wat's the name of the song...

  • it's called "geu nyuh wah ibyul" sung by kim hyun jung. translated it means something like "splitting up with that girl"

  • No prob! The thing alot of japanese arts don't like to mention is that they got alot of influence from china and korea as well. As a jujutsu practicioner i used to think the same way but there is truth and merit in almost all styles. Japanese swords got heavily influenced by korean and chinese mettalurgy so don't let japanese artists get snobby on you lol

  • the japanese can trace their entire culture as well as genetic history back to china, i wouldn't have thought any serious martial artist would ever try and dispute the fact that most if not all martial arts known today are in some way influenced by china, surely?

  • it's lineage can be traced back to japan. the founder of hapkido trained at the same dojo that the founder of aikido trained at. it's a cool style.

  • umm dont know about if it primarly comes from japan, try korea, its a mix of all of those anicent countries considering how much they fought against one another

  • The creator of the style Yong Sul Choi was trained in a style of Aiki-Jujutsu called daito Ryu. The backbone of the style, it's throws and locks are directly from that. http://www.hapkido-info.net/html/history.html

  • cool thanks

  • well... hapkido isnt exactly one of the famous mainstream martial arts like: taekwondo, karate, and kung fu... but its pretty dang cool, its alot like aikido right?(throw wise)

  • its like aikdio cept it combines other art forms such as tkd, karate, kung fu as you mentioned and everything else, well lots of other things, it is primarly self defence ergo not practical as a sport as compared to tkd but uses elements of other forms so we can have fun and spar etc... sparing useing wirst locks? dont think so hence it is undefined and a very open end art

  • Well its not a sport compared to tkd because tkd is the sport form based off of hap ki do, the way judo is based off of ju jitsu. it is based off of ju jitsu and aikido because the founder of hap ki do trained under a ju jitsu/ aikido master and took it back to korea

  • U really don't now what you're are talking xd

  • i have half a clue, trained under and am very good friends with hal whalen 7th degree black chun do kwan, the man is a hap ki do encylopedia and have heard many of the stories and histories from him

  • LOL!I love it. I do hapkido myself. I agree wif lonniebhodge, if only it was that easy wifout a trained partner. Normal people resit and do all dis sheet...

  • excelent video!!!!

  • Gee, if it was only that easy without a trained partner!

  • Nice moves

    :}

    HAIL HAPKIDO
