Cant say i like all these comparisons. I mean ffs, both Vortex and Vintersorg are amazing singers, but they have in some way different voices/technics. Vortex sang this song in the original recording, so of course its easy to judge by that, but i think we would have had the same discussion if it had been the other way around; Vortex singing some of the songs Vintersorg have recorded.

And second, Borknagar is more than just their singers! =)

@emriaco Clearly you don't know fuck all about Black Metal if you're going to mention Darkthrone in your list. Borknagar isn't straight ahead BM. This is an established fact and the fact that you can't wrap your head around this makes you sound like a dumbass.

Darkthrone is blacker than anything you can imagine. I will go so far even as to say that if you don't like the majority of the songs on A Blaze In The Northern Sky, Under A Funeral Moon, or Transylvanian Hunger, you're not Metal.

His monitors went off most of time and on stage he couldn't hear anything, so it was a very hard to sing this song for him.

He actually was walking around to hear something and sing on the right tempos.

Besides that, he sounds fine most of the song

Yeah that sucks bigtime, I hate it when something technical mallfunctions, it makes performing even harder. But his voice has improved substantially over the last years I think, compared to the one from 2002 atleast.
