I dont know y they didnt perform plain, good old Chinese opera, which shows the true essence of Chinese culture...instead of that odd combination of acrobatic suits and opera makeup...not so pleasent to look at if u ask me.

The choreographer is the same woman who choreographed the diabolo act for Cirque du Soleil's Quidam (and La Nouba). My good friend Liu Qing was in the original act, and now she is the assistant choreographer to this woman, Madame Wong. I saw her teach her students this act, it is really cute.
