amazing plane man i got to ride right seat in one over the summer and i fell in love with it...i dont have a seaplane add on my ticket but im looking to get one how are the jobs up that way for pilots just curious and also what do you think of the turbine kits for these a.c im considering going in with a partner or two and getting one but i dont know any insight would be good thanks p.s i have some mountain and water vids on my page if youre interested check em out
A turbine Goose would be awesome. If you do it ... please contact me.... I would be happy to help you out with your training. I have over a 1000 hours of PT - 6 time as well and am more than qualified to satisfy the insurance requirements to be your annual check pilot. As to the job prospects with the Company .... I would recommend you contact them for yourself because .... ummm ... some times we are looking for new hires. Know what I mean.
I grew up flying to Catalina from San Pedro- actually had the treat of sitting in the right seat every now and then (unless weight and balance was a problem). These are (were) awesome planes. It was a shame when the accidents happened years ago.

I flew with Pete Mcleod back in June. I believe he was the pilot killed in November. He was a great pilot. What a great flight and smooth landing we had.
If I were to be a pilot, the goose is the plane I'd want to fly.
