Here are some of the predominant strains: evangelical, 7th Juventus, orthodox, baptist.... they cannot all be correct. Just like all monotheistic religions cannot be correct. If they all say there is only ONE god, then most (if not all) of them are wrong. I figured this out when I was 10.

I meditated on it for three straight days, taking one break to only drink some water and eat a few berries so that I wouldn't pass out. I've come at it from every angle and my answer was I have no reason to believe and I have no reason not to believe. The choice was mine to make, so I made it on what I felt deep down in my own heart. And, I am indifferent on circumcision.

The old beliefs have died. We realized that they were wrong. Now, we just try to live our lives in peace.

Since the laws of thermodynamics deal strictly with the dynamics of energy, evolution does not violate the Second Law. As long as energy is available (The Sun, duh), evolution can occur just as any other natural process can occur.
The second law applies to a closed system. The earth is not a closed system - we have constant energy input from the sun, which is used to build up complexity and decrease entropy. The change in entropy involved in evolution is tiny compared to the change in entropy in living systems, though. If the second law prohibited evolution, then it would even more strongly prohibit the function of a single cell, let alone the growth of a single cell into a person.
The theory of evolution is not a religion. The theory which explains the change over time in one or more inherited traits found in populations of organisms isn't the same as the delusional belief in a bearded sky fairy.

I have also witnessed and performed exorcisms myself. I have seen skin burn when touched by a holy symbol. I have heard demonic voices speak from the mouths of others in languages they have no idea how to speak. I do not believe that these children were possessed. But it is possible to be possessed.

The second law applies to a closed system. The earth is not a closed system - we have constant energy input from the sun, which is used to build up complexity and decrease entropy. The change in entropy involved in evolution is tiny compared to the change in entropy in living systems, though. If the second law prohibited evolution, then it would even more strongly prohibit the function of a single cell, let alone the growth of a single cell into a person.
