Absolutely beautiful, this is the side of Pearl Jam that isn't exposed often, but it just makes them that well rounded band. One of my favorites.

Yeah, I guess if everyone really loves the record it might just be me,,. listening to Avocado makes me think it was a better album then this one, and I didn't care for that one much. You have to admit Got some is not their best work, sounds like a milk add, Got milk??

Avocado was a good album, for sure. I'd say Backspacer stands on a par with it. Not Pearl Jam's best work, but a good, solid and very listenable album all the same. I've got as many songs on repeat from Backspacer as i did for Avocado.

In hindsight, it would have been nice to maybe have taken the five best songs from both albums and combined them... but obviously that would have meant waiting nearly 10 years for a new album.... Boooooo.

Of their 105 studio tracks (not counting Lost Dogs, etc) they have a handful of tunes of this genre. I think you watched Into The Wild a Few too many times Bud.

Great song. It stands alone. What an album; the best since Yield and maybe better...I think they are ramping up into a new phase.
