I used to consider buying this as my first bike ,cause I wanted a 125cc and I was only doubting about getting a four stroke or a two stroke bike

but it takes you like...28 seconds to get up to 120km/h... damn

my two stroke will do the same in about 5.5 seconds... but you'll probably get more miles out of one gastank

Are you Fuckin Kidding me? Is this Yamaha R-125 I dream about? My Pakistani < $1000 new bike Ravi Piaggio Italian Bike/ Assembled in Pakistan goes faster than that! I did 137km/h on regular petrol not on High Octane I wonder what it would do on that as it is already scary beyond 130 for me. Why should I spend $3000 and $9/cc ($1125) duty to import this bike in to Pakistan to get this shit performance?

I just can't decide between 2 and 4 strokes.. I mean right now I'm leaning towards 4, because its' cons are so small compared to a 2 stroke. But for power and pure fun, 2 strokes seem to do it better, because this YZF is redlining at 130 and it takes 14s to get from 0 to 100 kph

I'm buying a yamaha, now it's just down to WR/YZF

The Yamaha R125 is a bit faster (without tuning too) due to more HP.

If you tune them to the max posible, the R1 will be still a bit faster.... BUT just a bit, these bikes are really close when it comes to engine performance!

One last thing, an 125cc engine (non-tuned) WILL NEVER reach the 140km/h (hardly the 130)

With some really strong tuning you can reach the 150 - 160 Km/h
