it's got an HDMI output port, so you can put it on your TV, that's enough reason for most

I don't think he meant what's the point of being able to run 1080p on a small screen.
The screen downsizes the video. It's not full 1080p on the small screen. You would have to put it on a 1080p screen with hdmi to see if it would run.

that is a ridiculous ammount of cpu usage! you can even see the video doing massive ammounts of catchup throughout it.
get dxva used on it and it will work perfectly with only about 15% cpu used.
