raymond lost this year, in a tournament to a guy from turkey, and got beat pretty bad in his mma fight. he fought jadi something like 13 times, according to jadi anyway, and ray leads that series 7-6.
I know about the MMA loss, but that doesnt really mean anything to me because he is by no means a MMA fighter. He is a point fighter.I didnt know if he was undefeated in point fighting. He is the best I have seen in this.
Lastly my biggest complaint about the WCL is it doesn't support strategy just go out there and and throw no stop strikes. Thats not what karate is about fighting is a science to me or like playing chess. Im surprise Chuck Norris would support this because when he fought he fought intelligently with strategy. Very Interesting!
I like Raymond but the WCL do not allow takedowns such as sweeps and reeps. They don't allow nor do give points for trapping the kicking leg and sweeping or reeping the supporting leg, that would change the whole aspect of the sport because it would discourage you from kicking!
Any time he has room to run and cant be cornered, he has the advantage regardless if takedowns are allowed. In a ring or cage, hes most likely done for. Happen to see his knockout in the WCL in his 2nd event of this season? Amazing jump spinning back kick to the body, sent the guy flying across the mat.
but that really will not be a good show. And only seeing grappling or take downs, etc. is so fucking boring!! I like this shows, and this fights. Raymond Daniels is my idol!
I actually know a guy who beat him. It was a long time ago but he still beat him =)

His good very flashy but beatable. Sweeps and/variety of takedowns would neautilize all that kicking.
