Hi there. I appreciate your work on some of ur videos, got really good talent on lead. I myself is a pianist/keyboarder(lead) and id like to know your opinion about Kurzweil k2600, and one more, which ones are better lead sound quality, Kurzweil k2600 or Korg Oasys ? Lookin forward to hear from you soon.
Thanks! About the K2600, pianos and leads are some of the best I've ever heard! Just listen to "Scenes from a memory" album by Dream Theater or any LTE album. The only problem is finding spare parts if it breaks. Comparing it to Oasys is unfair, given the production date, programming possibilities, support, and of course, the price. And even then, I personaly prefer the K2600 when it comes to leads. I hate the "synthetic stink" that leads made on newer Korgs generally have. I hope this helped.
of course, that which you called "synthetic stink" can be fixed by repatching the lead sound.. and you also need a software to do so.
I'd prefer OASYS.. coz it's more innovated, and it has more sampling memory and a massive data bank.. .but it's too difficult to use though in your first time.. like a baby that's trying to use a laptop for the first time without any sort of assistance, LOL.
