Alright, let me explain. When the election was going on, Carrie essentially said that she doesn't agree with celebrities when they back up a candidate because she feels it makes the American public seem like they can't make their own decisions. Well somehow people took that wrong and little Selena Gomez responded to Carrie basically saying that yes people look up to celebrities (in direction of Carrie) but you need to be careful what you are saying. No one in this situation backed anyone. nbd

I mean she was like what? 15 when she made that comment and judging by what she allegedly said she doesn't even know the difference betweeen a Dem and a Rep IMO:) Also I don't even think Carrie commented on that whole situation. If she really disliked said celebs, Oprah really would not have had her on the show and be fulsome in her praise of Carrie's career etc.. It is kinda weird, after all.

there is nothing wrong with being a little glamorous when you are performing. in fact you should be i think. an outfit or what you are wearing is always a part of the overall show, you match the song or what not.

It's obvious that now the way she's huge, her gigs wouldn't be that simple anymore, but I liked it better that way. And come on, 3/4 outfits in a show? makes it look like a pop show, IMO.

Why does it matter to you what she wears when she performs? Maybe she has 3 or 4 outfits per show because she can't decide which one she likes best. Besides, some songs call for a cute, sassy outfit (like before he cheats, while we're young and beautiful) and some songs call for the exact opposite (just a dream, i know you won't). But really, if you're a fan you won't mind what she wears.
