I would say that the only defense harris has faced that will be better than osu is prob unc. Chekwa is sketchy but Torrence Hines and Barnett all can fly. That's our starting secondary and Barnett is the only one without solid experience but he's probably the best back there.

Shall2347 - As I understand it, the BCS system is supposed to ensure one champion but as LSU and USC know from 2004, they shared it. I'd like to see an 8 team playoff system becuase it gives good teams like Boise St, Cinci, and other a chance at the trophy. AND we get to watch matchups that we might not normally get to see. USC fan here. I watched the Rose Bowl and was impressed with Ohio State and TP. I thought Oregon had all the tools to win, but that's why they play the games right? @jgcane I hope you realize that ohio states secondary is much faster than wisconsin's va tech's and clemson's. I would say that the only defense harris has faced that will be better than osu is prob unc. Chekwa is sketchy but Torrence Hines and Barnett all can fly. That's our starting secondary and Barnett is the only one without solid experience but he's probably the best back there.

In football I watch all the big matchups even in conferences that I dont like bcuz they have an impact on my team. it wud be stupid to quit the current system for a 16 playoffs. Maybe theres a better system out there but nuthin ive heard of.

Shall2347 - As I understand it, the BCS system is supposed to ensure one champion but as LSU and USC know from 2004, they shared it. I'd like to see an 8 team playoff system becuase it gives good teams like Boise St, Cinci, and other a chance at the trophy. AND we get to watch matchups that we might not normally get to see. Just my opinion.

USC fan here. I watched the Rose Bowl and was impressed with Ohio State and TP. I thought Oregon had all the tools to win, but that's why they play the games right? OSU fans should be looking forward to next year, I think your team will be even better. Jeff Fisher, Jack Del Rio, and Oregon St head coach Mike Riley are all possible replacements. Power house schools 'usually' can find good coaches. I just really liked Carroll's style. It sucks he's leaving. We can't expect our coaches to stay forever, unless you're Penn St that is haha. Man, I haven't even worn my new USC sweatshirt I got for x-mas! Fight on!

He seems to have an attitude but I really don't know. One thing for sure is that Papa Kiffin knows defense and USC kept their best recruiter too. Who knows, maybe Kiffin will work out well for the Trojans. Either way, I love college football and I look forward to next season.
