Loving this video. I went natural in 2010 an never realize how many MEN love my kinky curly hair. I had been brain washed to think weave made me more beautiful. But my Natural hair is so nice. I can wear it curly,straight,up an down. No more relaxer,glue,weave an etc, I still wear my braids. But I feel SEXY with my own hair!!!!!! I mean I embrace who I am more then anything!!!! Not everbody can rock the natural but it don't matta cuz I see it as embracin our heritage, self confidence, and a form of not spendin money on somethin that stays in yo head fa a week or two.

I have found a handful of black men who have lost interest in me simply because of this, now i am no ugly chick.. Must say i get alot of attention. I'm a Black American Cuban, and I wear my hair natural. It's good to see a brotha who loves and appreciates a natural hair sista. Where I live I get alot of looks, because I wear my hair natural. Everywhere I go, I see women of all races with wigs, weaves, and hair extensions. I got so sick of seeing the same old shit, I decided to go natural and stay. I realized that natural hair is truly who I am, and this is what god gave me. People of African descent, need to embrace the natural beauty.
It took two years of growing, and cutting, but my daughter is 22 with a head full of all natural, virgin hair. It is BEAUTIFUL ! I soooo envy her hair. I'm working on mines now.

you are absolutely right some women do wear weave as a crutch I know cus i was one of them but finding bald spots my senior year throughout my hair right before prom made me vow never to put another weave in my hair again. Yes, I wear weaves, braids, curls, whatever I want because my natural hair is more versatile than my relaxed hair was. And yes you can have long natural hair as my hair touches my bra strap! People get with it!

to me i say forget kinky nappy hair, weaves, straighteners, relaxers & lace fronts are the way to go. natural hair is good if your hair is naturally curly, wavy or straight but not kinky and all these kinky hair styles look manly apart from braids, long braids look good on some women. if your a man it dont matter cuz most black men wear their hair really short so you cant see the kinks and the ones that do grow their hair get cornrows braids or sometimes dreads so you still cant see the kinks

you are absolutely right some women do wear weave as a crutch I know cus i was one of them but finding bald spots my senior year throughout my hair right before prom made me vow never to put another weave in my hair again. It took me over 2 yrs to grow my perm out and LOVE my natural hair! Matter of fact, most of the women in my family are now natural as they followed my lead. Yes, I wear weaves, braids, curls, whatever I want because my natural hair is more versatile than my relaxed hair was. And yes you can have long natural hair as my hair touches my bra strap! People get with it!

to me i say forget kinky nappy hair, weaves, straighteners, relaxers & lace fronts are the way to go. natural hair is good if your hair is naturally curly, wavy or straight but not kinky and all these kinky hair styles look manly apart from braids, long braids look good on some women. if your a man it dont matter cuz most black men wear their hair really short so you cant see the kinks and the ones that do grow their hair get cornrows braids or sometimes dreads so you still cant see the kinks

me and my twin sis have very long curly hair and we dont have a perm and we straighten it alot. i want to wear it natural so i dont have to put heat on it but i don't have the right products! i think i look nice if my hair is straightened or not.if somebody gonna wear it natural dont cut it! just wear it natural without being cut but i really dont know what people with the shorter nappier hair should do but i am saying what i think you dont have 2 cut the hair to make it look nice just style it

my sister & my cousin lady boldly gave me hair suggestions, i soon started watching youtube naturals b/c my sister told me. me & my sister bought PLENTY of hair products for our natural hair MONTHS ago; so now we're using products we have.

when i got my drastic cut (not a big chop) apr 2010, my hair was cut SHORT bob length, but i've had long hair ALL OF MY LIFE. i've seen women get close cuts (big chop) while STILL looking GIRLY b/c of the effort. me & my sister can sweat in the gym with the personal trainer 2 days a wk WITHOUT WORRYING ABOUT OUR HAIR.

Blacks outside of the US are no more conditioned than countries in the Caribbean or the African continent with colonial influences, well except Haiti (your folks right?). But blacks Americans don't have a monopoly racial inferiority and any claim to that affect is bullshit.
