I've been listening to 宋素姬's songs since I accidentally clicked onto a Korean folk song video. Although I don't understand the language, but I find this genre of music very artistic and beautiful. Can someone refer me to songs like under genre sung by men or boys?
WOW! She is good! I want to know what the words are. (I'm still learning Korean.) Does anyone know where I can find the English translation? Can you please share it with me? Thank You!
the first song that lasts one minute says something like "the wind is blowing (x2) the night wind is blowing, is very nice a beautiful night, the moon is bright (x2), yes, over the mountains, the moon is very bright and it is very nice, so nice, it is a beautiful night."
She sings infinitely better than these k-pop clones. Good to see a young girl embracing her roots as opposed to striving to be the next manufactured slave of the entertainment industry. Such a talented girl and beautiful.
your comment on kpop is so shallow and ignorant. Knowing how hard and difficult to be successful kpop idols, you dismiss them as manufactured slave (조작, 제작됀, 재능도 없는 노예 집단) is the worst and the sneakiest stab at Korean people and Korean music. I am shock to see people spewing hateful message and pretending to be a fan.
Honestly, I do not know who she is but I will be going to a Korean Music Festival in L.A. on April 30th and she happens to be one of the performers and so I’m doing a bit of research and my goodness… WOW!!! That powerful voice coming from such a beautiful young girl!! I’m amazed! Wow…
Delightful song. Only Korean people possess poetical mind to turn simple "Roasting chestnuts" into such a delightful folk song. The song is rarely heard and relatively short. But, rhythmically, melodically intriguing. So Hee handled admirably. Korean subtitle on the screen has dreadful mistakes. "Dal is balk da,"Moon is bright" is written "Dalk (chicken) is bright," and "Bom balam," spring wind," is written "Don balam," meaning "Money wind." Hope, they correct them. Too short to enjoy.
