When a reporter asked Sam about it he pretty much took a personal swipe at Spike Lee and said he hadn't made a good movie in years. Then Spike accused Jackson of being an Uncle Tom. Don't know if they ever made up.

Twelve hours of talking the television audience gets an hour-and-a-half of, and we have no idea what contractual agreements were made about the content.
