Jun's Speedy lines and hide's more Melodic lines would have gone awsome in one unit

@SilentAnimeproinc Nah, musically Jun is better than hide. Don't get me wrong I love hide's style. also it's hide without capital H. But technically hide was at the time slightly better. But Jun as a musician and technician quickly surpassed hide, but failed in comparison as far as idol impact and influence on jrock. hide is the bigger star, better persona etc but musically I have to say Jun is better. Pata and hide were both similar in skill, while Taiji was the most skilled out of them all.

Jun is a fine guitarist. A lot of their early recordings actually have completely different solos (Kurenai, X, Orgasm, songs Yoshiki wrote).

Obviously when Pata and hide joined later they had input to make the solos more flowing?

And yes, Jun is okay, but I believe Hide and Pata were much more creative, especially Hide....his solos just had so much personality to them.

Its German speed/power metal! If you do not believe me just go to the 1987 version of this song and check out the exact replica of the first harmony section from Helloween's Ride the Sky. X sound nothing like Slayer or Metallica and probably never heard of either band at this point.

@CoyMEX well really able to do sweep picking doesn't necessarily makes someone a better guitarist, yea the person may be technically good but if he can't play with feel it really makes no difference, look at slash, he doesn't do alot of difficult stuff on hes solos n riffs but u definitely cant deny that hes good right? im trying to say is if a guitarist plays with feelings even the simplest riffs or solos sounds excellent. :)

In 1986 hide was in a band called Yokosuka Saver Tiger(there is videos of them up here on you tube. and jun was the guitarst of x in 1986 but he left cause of not likeing the style that x were going to. then after him came hide.
