@stretchypants123 Well, you're not supposed to be killing the troops, they're just playing around because it's a demonstration. The troops attack you from your flanks while you fight generals and officers, which can make you flinch...which is often enough to make you lose the battle. And you can lose battles without dying....

I saw an argument of DW vs sengoku basara (devil kings) I'm going to have to go with sengoku since the characters look so much cooler and so does the combat. They really need to do some things with the series to change it besides w/e the hell strikeforce was.

Ive always liked DW, but hav2 say now its getting stale, u can only re-tell one big epic story so many times. Koei needs 2 expand this series and do totally new things with it now. They shud try taking Ideas from games like "Viking Battle for Asgard." I mean still keep the hack-n-slash gamplay, but make it where u hav 100s of enemy soldiers coming at u at once, and 100s of ur army, all mashed together in a big war. Or maybe add abit of "Total War" style strategy 2 the game, commanding ur armies.

i always thought it would be cool if they made a dynasty warriors where you make your own guy and say you pick Shu to serve under, you would be able to betray them at a certain point during the Shu campaign and go to the Wei side and finish the story like that

SO has anyone played this one yet? Cause I liked the old 2 and 3..4 but then they made it gay and there was less killing in 5 and 6. I like just running around for hours on end racking up 1,000s of kills of hard or chaos in the old games... where you could just sit in front of main general or be general and wait to annihilate every last one while the game chopped cause of hundreds of people flying through the air.

Bring back the good old days of DW!! DW 2 and 3 were amazing, so much more stratergy involved, youd have to attack different sides of the map and kill generals to stop the enemy army from growing out of control. Now you just run around like a headless chicken and get as many kills as possible. So boring :O

@ShreddyMan No, you got a few bodyguards in one of em... You couldnt really tell them what to do. In Dynasty Warriors strikeforce that you get 3 other members that you can give basic orders too. This is mainly just a game to be some ridiculously strong guy who runs into a mob of hundreds of people at a time and wipes them out without any issue.
