@Texarmageddon He is partly right, letting off the throttle completely is on of the mistakes he did. But he didn't countsteer at all wich is the big mistake here. If your still on the throttle you maintain some level of control of the rear, altough keeping on the gas would not have saved him here.

@ringlol If you starting to drift... the first thing you'll learn is that when you let off the gas.... traction is regained... By gasing you are purposely breaking the traction or reducing it... Hence, this guy needed to get off the gas... gain traction then turn back left..(or handbrake) no matter how you look at this... if you gas and countersteer you are only going to drift in one direction... this guy would still crash even if he had counter steered and gas

There come a point in which you become the passenger (which happens quickly on wet roads as seen here) I think it was a combo of wet road and change in elevation that cause the rear to kick and it was never meant to be a drift.

the corner isnt hard, but not easy, the camber is all wrong and changes in the middle + the body roll will effect the car when trying to turn into the next corner.

He did well to control it as good as he did... nice and smooth. although it could have been a differnt outcome if he had let the accelerator off, may have been able to save it
