hey i just have a quick question about the slingbox. I'm thinking of purchasing a slingbox pro-hd and connecting it to a tv of a family member in another country. My question is, if i decide to watch their cable, when i change channels will it change for them also? i want to be able to watch a channel yet not bother them and what their watching. For example when you changed channels on your tv from your computer was your wife able to continue to watch her show or did the channel change for her?

Hey bud overall nice video but that HD port is NOT an HDMI. It is a HD CONNECT port or proprietary port that allows for the sling dongle to transfer component RGB HD to the sling box. available seperately $25-50. Very important to know if you care about DVD quality video streaming. The NEW slingbox PRO HD with have the full ability to stream and output HD.

there is no way to use slingbox on iPhone yet. i think that u are thinking about something called orb live, but is a little more complicated than slingbox.
