T.T ah you speak the name Torah to lightly (as a religious man) , yet you know nothing about its origin , ah & i had such hope for a debate , yet your words are empty. Farewell my friend , farewell. P.S. dont use alias account when contacting ppl, its embarasing
@omedyasher there is always a positive and a negative way to do anything. discretion and circumspection are valuable and Torah endorsed "tools" for achieving anything when dealing with others. Sometimes it is necessary to go to war and other times it is necessary to find more persuasive ways of guiding people without frontally assaulting them. I do not advocate either cowardice or insincerity, only a possibly wiser path to the same end. . .
yeshivas as theological cemeteries lol funny BUT you are major league asking for trouble from the Jewish community. And honestly when you get older you are going to want a secure job rabbi...be circumspect just a little. I support you and think you're doing some good things but why make yourself a pariah?
@wrhare1 Whether or not he will be a lonely outcast depends on us. If enough of us begin to fear God more than men and heed R' Asher's call that we return to reasonable and ethical Torah-Judaism, then there's no worry about being regarded a pariah. Introverted 'Judaism' will be outcast.
@kanaiboded As the Rambam also wrote in his letter to Yosef ibn Aknin, this is an additional reason for teachers to be financially independent... so that they won't have to listen to synagogue boards.
Thanks for sharing the insights on Shemot. May your Shabbat be blessed.

@wrhare1 It is cowardly and insincere to sacrifice conviction for acceptance.

@omedyashar 100% agree, BUT als a community rabbi one has a hard time with this mindset ;)

@omedyashar Sure, but that´s not the reality today, sadly. The only exception might be Chabad.
