  • Same comedy in Germany ! :D

  • 'When I was a kid, my Fairy God Mother asked me if I wanted a long penis or a long memory. I forget my response..' aha

  • Stew vs Milton Jones

    One liner/Pun battle

The place would be in tears, I love both of 'em

  • I love Stewart Francis! He's an absolute genius and his jokes are made all the funnier by his deadpan/monotonic delivery

  • its pronounced rokfor not rokford you moron.

  • Hahaha, self irony at it's best!

  • what's up baby seal, lets go clubbing.

  • michle mctyre is way more better

  • @SuperJadella Good english, I see the Canadian education system has helped you a lot. :P

  • @SuperJadella michael and this guy have different approaches to comedy, depends wwhich type u enjoy more

  • whats his name?

  • @klesstwo it's in the title of the video

  • He has such a weird style of stand-up.... but so good.

  • day light come and me want go home xD

  • Wow. I can't believe he can be so laid back and so funny at the same time!!!

  • "like all Canadians i like to go clubing.... unless there's no seals about!" -- I dont get the joke.... what does he mean by seals?????

  • @askar4kill hahaha.. is that sarcasm? :D

  • @askar4kill In canada it's a controversial sport to kill seals by hitting them with blunt objects. Google it

  • @PostalTubeAlex it's not a "controversial sport" lol it's a native american tradition that's gotten out of control and misunderstood.

  • Saw this guy last week here in the uk for the first time, couldn't stop laughing.

  • so many freakin cheesey jokes - and dont rip my head of, just my correct opinion

  • @GiFloDotCom - "just my correct opinion" lololololol ^_^

  • this guy does the best one-liners

  • Exciting news!!! Stewart Francis will be headlining 'Clyde 1 Entertains...' on March the 16th at Glasgow's O2 Academy. The night is a mix of music and comedy on the eve of The Magners' International Glasgow Comedy Festival. The night will also feature 2008 Scottish comedian of the year, Scott Agnew. Bruce Devlin will be your compere and Music is provided by two of Scotland's finest young bands, Kassidy and The View. For tickets head over to ticketsoup or contact the 02 Academy box office

  • Is it just me or does this guy remind anyone else of a Mitch Hedberg rip off?

  • @BenjiStone Just because you heard of him after you've head of Hedberg doesn't make him a rip-off. He's been doing this longer than YouTube's been around.

  • @VexonCross

and mitch hedberg died before youtube was even thought of, whats your point?

  • @BenjiStone My point is the date this vid was posted here doesn't equal the date he started doing stand-up. Hedberg's first TV appearance was in 96 on Letterman, Francis' was in 97 on Jongleurs. I really don't think Fracis swaw Hedberg in 96 and then became a television-worthy comedian over a few months. Their tour dates were also widely different.

  • @VexonCross yeah i know that.

i'm just saying that in my opinion he is a rip off. he doesnt neccesarilly(sp?) have to have been around much longer after hedberg to have ripped him off

  • @BenjiStone True, but you don't get to be popular when you're not performing in a style that's your own. Sure, you can rip off jokes and make them work in your own style (Dane Cook, Denis Leary, etc.), but you can't rip off an entire style.

  • @BenjiStone It's just you.

  • boring....

  • What does he say at 1:09?

  • @drbuk96

Sadly as a canadian i dont speak french ?

  • @drbuk96 "sadly as a canadian, i don't speak french.. such is life..." (:

  • @bwaani Oh! 'Such is life'... yes I was referring to the little bit after 1:09 actually. Thanks to those who helped (:

  • I don't get the clubbing joke, when he says i like going clubbing but when there is no ceiling around.

  • @Mrfairful

There was a thing ages ago about this guy clubbing seals to death (as in bludgeoning them)

    He said "Seals" not "Ceiling"

  • @bigbob572 thanks

  • @Mrfairful he said seals, not ceiling. He's referring to a disgusting activity which involves clubbing a seal over the head to kill it

  • The jokes are good but he should work on filling it with other bits. Not just one joke blindly led into the next one soon gets old.

  • quality

  • He's the Jimmy Carr for the 'poor' man

  • absolute class, andy parsons is such a loser by comparison

  • @betover68 In comparison... but Andy Parsons is alright... on Mock The Week.

  • I love 1 line comedy, its straight to the point, and should be done my more comedians, and if its as effective as this guy, it would be awesome :D

  • He is bloody AWESOME!!!

  • "Like most Canadians I like to go clubbing.... But if there's no seals around...." LOL - I almost died laughing

  • @1983Dave1983 I didn't understand that one.

  • don't ususally like people with one liners but love him :D

  • he's a great man for the one liner... but its the same routine again and again..

  • legend

  • in my opinion him and jimmy carr are the best

  • VERY VERY FUNNY!

  • one liner comedians have a harder job cos they are not anecdotal and theres a punch line every 10 secs.. so they end up needing a lot more material of smart wordplay..

  • he's a one liner. not bad, but not best

  • @mikebrightman

yeah, Tim Vine is the best

  • This guy's good, but he basically tells jokes that has nothing to do with eachother. That's not something every comedian does. I like it better when the jokes is set into one act. And instead you have several acts, through his/her preformance...

  • @GOTHICforLIFE1

hes a one liner comedian. its what he does.

  • daylight come and me want to go home!

  • " i was good at history - No ? " hahahahhah i dont usually like one line comedians but this guy is hilarious love tha fact he is so serious aswell .

  • He's Good

  • i love it wen he goes on mock the week

  • he cracks me up

  • dry

  • Love Him :)

  • hahaha!

"like all Canadians i like to go clubing.... unless there's no seals about!" lmao! the guy in the crowds face after that was amazing!!

  • @andyc992 " I like to go clubbing - but if there's no seals about" That was a reference to canadians clubbing seals ( animal cruelty) but apparently you missed that joke entirely and found more amusement in a funny face. :P

  • @andyc992 I dont get it. explain the joke plz.

  • . . .Canadia i think.

i think its the goodest of all 17 countries

    lol that made my day

  • @lilleahhere05

theres no such place as canadia

  • @lilleahhere05

sorry my ro gets on and writes stupid comments

  • hes hilarious

  • The irony of him just doing something so predictable - and by some people's standards, not funny - just makes it even funnier.

  • the king of one liners

  • @TheDoctorwhofan456 He's making up for the shame Justin Beiber put on Canada

  • u smokin sumhing gorgina

  • A whole series of one liners, I don't mean that in a bad way either. A couple of them made me chuckle and cringe but for the most part he's quite a funny person. :D

  • I cannot help but what him over & over again... his delivery is just superb and i don him the KING of one-liners! - Incidentally he's doing a tour of the UK right now called "Tour de Francis" :)

  • @b4gm4n Zach galifianakis is the one-liner king

  • yeah dude. Normally you would say that you never had any chemistry with someone, but she's a chemistry teacher so..........he timed the rapport line perfectly there. The boy i really good.

  • @Descalabro Lol y obviously you just don't get the comedy....im not trying to be mean but its comedy you need to think about....you have to be intelligent to get it lol

  • @blackricky you don't to be that intelligent to understand the joke was in the word play he used. Most of the jokes he uses here are simple basic jokes, used countless times before. This joke about the chemistry was maybe the best of this act, and yet it could be a joke anyone would tell at a casual conversation with friends. You can say it's not my style of humour, but there's really nothing that intelligent about this act.

  • @Descalabro i was trying to be nice lol......cuz i 'really' thought that if someone didnt get the jokes...they would have to be really stupid lol

  • @Descalabro Although I myself am also a fan of Bailey and Carlin, I personally find Francis highly risible. If anything he is very ANTI-average - in a world of comedy where just about every other comedian works on narrative lines, he has the balls to pull off a string of one-liners.

So, yes. I don't agree with you. So theeere. XP

  • @Stolanis it's not his style that I find average, it's his one-liners. And yes, he's risible, there just more than one way of being risible though. :P

  • don't forget Jimmy Carr. the master of one liners.

  • @Glisern No, no, no, no. Jimmy is above and beyond mere king, he's the overlord of the one liner realm.

  • when people having a mutual attraction or sympathy its called having a good chemistry between them.

So he liked french because the chemistry teacher and him didnt have any ...............

    got it?

    I hope its clear

  • @SAndrushS And Rapport is a french word.

  • @bowersbros this will make it non-funny but oh well.

he says how he loved french but not chemistry (as in the science subject) as he and his teacher didn't have any...(and the world would be chemistry as in bonding, but he uses the french word for chemistry which is rapport)

so there you go...told u it wouldn't be funny anymore..but thats it explained..hope it helps! :)

  • Comment removed

  • @georginarussell no we were expecting him to say chemistry :P

  • Comment removed

  • =))

  • its good to laugh at yourself

  • @samster0125 He Canadian, he said it in the first 30 secs lol

  • The man is a genius.

  • not to everyones taste :)

  • derp

  • great comic

  • so cheesy, have to love it

  • His one-liners are funny, but they don't really run into each other very well. It''s a bit disjointed.

    Still, made me giggle.

  • lol I merely mean that loads of comedians manage to make it look very unscripted - and he doesn't, don't bite my head off! :P

  • "Like most Canadians i like to go clubbing.....but if theres no seals around..." LOL

  • so is all comedy

  • WOW I NEVER KNEW THAT

    ...

  • Well, yes, it is. Because it's one liners. That's how it works.

  • You think stand up comedians go out onto a stage with nothing prepared?

  • Ross Noble, sir.

  • Yes, but he is in the extreme minority, you have to agree, and he will go out there with an outline - not all of his act is improvised.

  • None of his act is improvised...

  • very smart!

  • He's good for the type of comedian he is, definitely.

  • I failed maths so many times i can't count

    lol

  • Ha ha ha .....what a guy ! Genius

  • haha endless, endless scripted jokes it was soo predictable it was helarious!

  • made me laugh... hard

  • he's a great 1 liner comedian!

  • @xxkidd00xx the canadian jimmy carr. ^^

  • @LittleSam14 he's nothing like jimmy carr

  • @Numberwang90 he is in the sense that most of his jokes are one liners. that what i meant.

  • @Numberwang90 He alot better than jimmy carr.

  • @TheBurdenIsGone, don't believe a word of it.

  • @xxkidd00xx up there with lee mack and tim vine

  • @xxkidd00xx hes the only great 1 liner imo

  • @maxf130 Nah not the only one, Tim Vine is also brill at one liners

  • he's awesome. can't beat him and frankie boyle!

  • I love this guy.

I loved the one where he says, "I always wanted to go into a library and ask for the book,'How to Deal With Rejection Without Killing'.

    Priceless!

  • I am very proud of the education system in canadia. I think its the goodest out of all 17 countries. LMAO

  • fantastic

  • like most canadians i like to go clubbing....

but if theres no seals around.

    LOL

  • I agree with you.

I know! I noticed that it wasn't Jamaican..

  • All comedians tour the same set of jokes until they write a new set! You wouldn't expect a band to perform an entirely new set every time they went on stage.

  • thats genius haha

  • @RafasRapidReds

In a tour.. yes they do.

May not be in the same order, but they are all the same songs.

You can't ask a comedian to write completely new jokes for every day of their tour. There are amazing things called... Other comedians ;)

  • @RafasRapidReds True, but you gotta admit, that'll be awesome :D

  • he also did this on mock the week, he is mutch better on this

  • fairy god mother asked me if i wanted a long penis or a long memory

    I-uh- forget my response

    :L lmao

  • It must be hard being a one liner comedian, he tends to have a mix. He is still hilarious

  • he reused some of these jokes on mock the week

  • Yeah, but pretty much all comedians reuse jokes before they write new material. If you watch earlier series of Mock The Week, even the regulars re-use jokes from previous episodes. I still like this guy though.

  • I think the "day light come and me want to go home" would've been funnier if he didn't do the accent

  • Canadia lmao

  • "Day Light Come and we wana go home"

  • my bad

  • that 'they like come and me want to come home' part, he realy looks like that pr guy in spin city doens't he?

  • its daylight btw.

  • omg i did not find this guy funny at all :/

  • haha Brilliant

  • i don't think he's funny at all.

where's the guy who said about "as usefull as standing after an earthquake with a dustpan and brush" ?

  • Very funny.

  • sean lock - hes hilariuos

  • that's sean lock, funniest man alive

  • oh man, so so so funny

  • CANADA FTW!!!!

  • Canadia! ;) XD

  • Brilliant !!!! great sense of humour and time............ing delivered with a laid back style. Hah.
