Yup, your right, this Spyder has a big t28. My bad. ;) when I first posted my comment 6months ago, I was doing alot of research on using n2o on stock DSM turbos. You can make mad horsepower on the 4g63 engine and stock turbo with the right internals and spray. Crazy block.
And also its possible to make them awd... cause the spyder's was build with an awd... chassi with just some miner adjustments and a pay load of money you got your self an awd...
I was going to get an awd donor car and convert to awd, but since I travel over 100 miles a day to school I figure I should leave it be for better fuel economy.
Well its true it cost a lot of money cause of all the parts you need to buy for the conversion ...but the adjustments are minor. You just have some welding and things to relocate...and yes by making it awd will reduce your fuel economy cause spyder's are heavy to begin with and the conversion makes it heavier...
you are correct..there was no awd spyder ever made...but many people have converted the spyder into awd..i currently own a 99 gs-t spyder ands i was for a while whiling thinking about going awd...
stock turbo 160hp nos kit beating 642whp it has to have alot more that a stock turbo and nitrous.

Fuel economy is worse because it's AWD instead of FWD. An extra 300lbs (give or take) will not make that much of a difference on fuel economy.
Just some welding? It's a very complex procedure with a ton of fabrication.
