I think she is a willing victim of an industry where women are convinced they have "beauty standards" to live up to in order to be more attractive to the opposite sex. Have you not heard of people becoming addicted to plastic surgery. Just because you love alcolhol, or cigarettes or drugs doesn't magically make it good for your health. The doctors who take people's money instead of simply saying no after several surgeries are also accomplices.

What she NEEDED was for her husband to genuinely reasure her verbally and through his actions and that he loved her as she was, that she didn't need surgery. The irony is that plastic surgery feeds ones insecurities about ones physical appearance. It is as though you are justifying that ugly voice in your head telling you you are not beautiful enough, attractive enough. With every surgery, you confirm this to yourself. That is SAD.
