  • ..Some of these machines place a tiny spot of adhesive on the location of SMT's before boards go into the pick-n-place...but after the solder paste is applied with a mask..usually a red glue...often visible after the boards are done soldering in the ovens

  • I love working on this machine. As a service tech for it. This was the Lexus from Japan that owned the assembly line!! I know this beast inside and out.

  • The speed the tray is moving are just insane..

  • dat speed :D

  • What makes me nervous about this system is... the PCB is accellerating like crazy repeatedly. This make me wonder how often some already placed component gets shifted by the g-forces. I thought about maybe designing and building a gizmo like this, and while it sure is convenient to have the work move around rather than the "head" (whatever it does), that can be very problematic for very fast processes like these PCB pick-and-place.

  • @honestann dude theres prob some ultra sticky flux on it to keep everything in place. im sure fuji wouldn't develop a several thousand dollar machine without providing a solution for that sort of problem.

  • @aarona493

More like several hundred thousand dollars.

  • @honestann All SMT processes use solder paste takes care of any possible "sliding" of components.

  • @honestann All SMT processes use solder paste, it will take care of any possible "sliding" of components.

  • Around 40000 devices/hour

  • *fapfapfapfap*

  • Part exhaust :P

  • Dude get a NXT

  • Freakin' Awesome.

  • Wonderfool....

  • siemens es un mugrero demasiados ausentes y mucho mantenimiento en cambio fuji lo mejor

  • ustedes no conocen la nxt de fuji

  • Pah, Dual-NXT rules... :D

  • is a Fuji CP 642

  • This is CP 643. Don't you see the clamping table?

    Sai

  • I've worked with Panasonic MV2, MPA, Philips FCM, Universal GSM, Fuji CP6 and IP. MyData machines are in my opinion the best. ONE MyData machine alone can place 0201s and BGAs. It can pick from 8mm reels to 24 mm reels, trays, sticks. Whatever package they send, it can place it with blinding speed and accuracy. Product change over is super fast. The MyData Agilis feeders can be loaded faster than you can open the tape guide on a Fuji feeder.

  • MyData's are very nice machines, I work with fuji cp4's, cp6's and mydata MY-12,14. MyData's are very accurate placers, good for BGA's and fine pitch IC's but even when using the hydra they cannot match a cp6 or even a cp4 when it comes to speed. I can change a fuji feeder faster than a mydata feeder.

  • My Data is real slow. Yamaha can do the same job. Siemens is a lot better.

  • @saihhwong dude shut up! i worked on a fuji line and their pick and place owns anything siemens ever made

  • @bent540

Have you ever seen a Siemens Siplace SX4 with Multistar heads? That machine has set new records for single and multi-size part placement speed. It can place any size SMT component and can automatically adapt for large-size components without changing tooling.

  • @douro20 keep in mind how old the cp's are. i worked on them back in 99 and at that time fuji had no competition. i produced sd ram modules on a fuji line.

  • the best of the fuji series is not nxt. I like it very much. issues are easy to fix.

  • that's very fast i'm sure that it's the most expensive pick and place

  • where do you work? thats the fastest smt machine i've ever seen. I work with siemens, universal and philips but this is from far much faster

  • It only looks fast. But if you compare with the Siemens HS50. It works like a snail.

  • thats a cp6 alright, Fuji are as good as it gets.

  • i worked with phillips and siemens and universal

but fuji is still the best

  • Thats a fuji surface mount machine cp6 i think, one of the best they make, i operate them at work everyday. and they own the framerate of ur brain, you can get dizzy watching them

  • That'd be sweet if you could get an extreme close-up of the placement head with a 1000FPS Super high-speed camera. Where was this?

  • hmmm szybkie ;p

  • Very nice.
