Ritchie undoubtedly had a voice rupturing out of balladonian era, couldnt go much far as the fans heard jon at vocals in the band years before ritchie went solo for a while, eventho ritchie was already playin even before jon gathered the boys to form bonjovi, so there was no escape or solo career for either player, the band wasnt based on compromises at first place, it was the squeeze of all the boys individually that made it go so far...so famous!!

@schavija Richie's great, isn't he? Did you know he had two solo albums: "Stranger in This Town" (1991) and "Undiscovered Soul" (1998). A beautiful song from the latter album is "Fallen From Graceland." There's also clips (of varying quality) of him doing live shows for both albums, as well as some TV appearances. I wish he'd release a third solo album!

@schavija Yep, I'm partial to "Stranger" overall because I love bluesy rock vocals, and few do it as well as Richie! I've seen that performance of "IBTFY" (as well as lots of others); you're right, it's amazing!! I also like it when he does "Homebound Train" solo on the current tour. As for MTV, does it even play music anymore? Mostly reality shows nowadays. I'd much rather listen to real music; hence my YouTube account and personal library of CDs (and my MP3 player for the car!).
