so... i still think i would choose my dazzle over this still. Its a lot cheaper. Just as easy to set up. Records about the same. Yes, you cant play in HDMI but you were saying that you are not playing in true HDMI anyway. So... I was thinking about getting this until i saw your video. Thank you.

i bought and tried this cap card out yesterday, i can say that what you said about the quality on the TV is 100% true. i also noticed a lag in controller input and what happens on the TV. definitely a huge step up from the dazzle, but i feel like i should have gotten the hd pvr

I think there's a master volume thing you can do in Vegas, so I can easily get over the sound problems. Also, I can play in 1080p and even render in 1080p, so I think this Roxio thing could work out for me. Thanks for taking time to make this video man, it really helped with comparing the two.

@ElPrincipe5108 you go to the edit and share part of the software put the video on. then you go to the production tab on the top leftish part of the screen and click add audio then you trim the video to meet the part where you start talking. hope this helped

fuck that lame video processor in that cap card, just get a splitter, plug it into the cap card and then the split into your TV, don't pass it through.

Roxio is a very cheap piece of machinery, try searching for Roxio audio problems, or lag problems, its all over youtube, i listented to this video promoting Roxio, went out and bought it, i haven't been able to use it since, there's all sort of problems, do more research if you are considering to buy this crap, it was a waste of money to me

the pvr is DEFINITELY the better choice. Watch in full screen and you can see the differences. The pvr isn't as blurry as the pvr, the colors look better on the pvr, and the pvr isn't as bright. If not watched in full screen though, it is difficult to tell the difference
