  • People work to get what they want and need. Sometimes they work hard for it. They are basically working to produce for themselves however I think realistically in the modern world we are producing alot. More than we use. Farms and Factories are producing alot. We eat once a day producing ten times the amount. $7.25 an hour is a meal an hour. Enough to live.

  • interesting to listen to his idiocy 20 months later...it sounded idiotic then & now it sounds even more like the propaganda it is

  • @OrwellsDaughter

made sense back then. makes even more sense now.

  • yeah lets blame someone else. Idiot

  • @88volcano Agree. It's been always like that... what a shame isn't it?

  • "Ron Paul had the majority of the public support."

BASED on what Poll? RNC exit polls? A dream you had?

"It costs $35,000 to register as a Republican party member."

Paper or Plastic? .....Haldol or Lithium?

  • The world bank? Are you serious. Its a bank that offers loans to third world countries.

Step away from the computer. You are sounding more foolish with each comment.

  • The world bank is a bank, is it not?

  • Naive is an appropriate word for your simplistic explanation of the banking situation. A watered down version of Darwinism that completely misses the point as to why the banks failed in the first place. T H E Y W E R E T O O B I G T O F A I L. What banks could take on the huge debt of Lehman brothers, AIG, ect? If those banks aren't bought and are hemorraging funds what happens? There's a reason why Peter Schiff, Ron's Paul's economic advisor didn't come close to getting the RNC nomination.

  • You're living in a fantasy where your theories are never put to the test. You can bash the government and never take responsibility for the private sectors abysmal performance in the market place. Free Market principals...(Never having to say I SCREWED UP.)

  • You should at least give examples that support your position and not blind ideology not born out in fact. You should be well versed in Peter Schiff's theories before you start referencing them. When they state AIG and other banks were too big to fail, it means those institutions permeated practically every aspect of the economy. Its analogous to allowing your heart to fail with the hope that your liver, or brain will buy it. You should apologize for your asinine approach to economics.

  • btw im 14 2 : ) i commented on this vid i was 13 then so. . .JUST CUZ WE ARNT ADULTS DOSINT MEAN WE DONT KNOW WHAT U ADULTS R TALKING ABOUT!!!

  • whatnowgop:

How old do you think I am then? I do not believe we should resort to such defamatory derision as calling a 14 year old full ride scholarship winner and Presidential scholar a "little punk."

Two things are wrong with your label. One, I am by no means little. Being 14, 6'1" and 196 lbs. I could whale on your ass if you weren't 60+ Also I do not skateboard, therefore can not be a punk. I am not white trash as well. Also, I may well join the Marines when "your boy" leaves office.

  • Your chances of going to war tend to increase with GOP president. I'm not sure if the US can fund another frivolous invasion.

  • OBAMA = NEGER

    McCain = GOD

  • McCain was and is a shyster. He helped with the scandal that caused the last collapse of the economy and he tried to pull off another scam by being elected only he had his butt kicked in a landslide election that saw the election of Obama with the most votes in history.

  • lilEMOlil:

You rock. Somebody actually sees what's going on here.

  • Ok math geniuses.

Why don't you try and fix the financial abortion that this man inherited from Bush? Can't see you doing much better.

The shit that this guy is getting for merely trying to fix the complete and total mess that Bush made is similar to when my brother once wrecked my mom's car and then tried to blame it on me so that I'd be the one to pay for it.

    What a dik. : )

  • And people Obama is not a magician :D. Time is important too :D

  • Watch "The Obama Deception" in HQ! This is the truth about Obama that you must know!

  • Watch "The Obama Deception" in HQ! This is the truth about Obama that you must know!

  • what a crock!

  • we're gonna talk about the economy.. i have a speech...

this is stupid... i hate how everything is CONTRIVED FALSE FAKE MADE UP PRE PLANNED i called bullshit... this should be an open conversation... to whatever is of most importance at the moment to talk about... talk about anything and everything random... and do it often...

he ALWAYS TALKS ABOUT jobs and creating them.. always talking nice.. this is what we gotta do and were gonna do it~!~ he is like a motivational bullshit speaker

  • @industrialhemprocks - smoke another joint dude. Are you suggesting POTUS should go on stage and say "so, whatcha wanna talk about yall?" And then people start calling out random shit? Would to prefer him to talk about random stuff like what sitcoms he likes or a funny thing his dog did the other day? I don't even know where to begin pickin that apart.

  • wtf is rong with ppl do u even know what his doing to familys who parints/brothers/sisturs died for this country????obama is plaining to cut the whifes or husbens cheak and will say to thier kid "hey you have to pay for college your self" and not help so hes saying "hey i dont care your family member died for this country"....so he should not be in the white houes!!!

  • does "lilemolil" speak english?

  • Try paying attention to the numerous things and changes he has broght about in 100 days instead of running off with right wing talking points. Obama has been the most active in trying to set a new direction than any modern day President. Those things seem to get lost in the constant attacks from the right. He doesn't have a overall approval rating of around 70 percent because he's trying to appease the right wing clowns at FAUX.

People know who left this enourmous mess.

  • This guy really needs to STOP campaigning

  • So let's do like Bush and not tell anyone what is going on. That was the real problem with Bush. His entire administration was a snow job and vieled in secrecy. Then when on the speech trail he would snicker, make jokes or clam up. When he didn't clam up he was always reminding us of the evil terrorst.

  • Who's talking about bush?? its Obama in the video eh? ALL we hear, have heard, and will ever hear out of this guy is campaign promises..."we need to...we are going to have to...my administration will...." how about "We have DONE THIS..." this guy looks like Jerry Seinfeld up there wavering back and forth snickering the whole time you need a brain in your head cause Bush is Obamas "evil terrorist"

  • Go home to your mansion and educate your liberal ass, he made more speeches in the first 100 days than Nobama did. I'm 14 and can tell what's going on, and you're probably 30 something with your head in your ass.

  • I doubt you are even 14. I doubt you will ever know what is going on even when you are my age of over sixty. Little punks need to put yourself in the service when there is a war going on to find out what it's like to grow up real fast with a taste or reality.

  • Educating?

The fact you can't even debate the content of the speeches, means you might as well treat your commentary like a cartoon, superficial and baseless. Argue the points of what is being said. There are important issues being discussed, Healthcare reform, economy, Afghanistan, ect. Its to be expected. GOP are horrible role models they also act immature, using labels Noobama, liberals, and making simpleton observation that don't contribute to the debate.

  • no. people like to say that unemployment was at 20% during f.d.r., but back then they didn't keep track of govt programs, so when you put that into consideration, unemployment dropped from 25% to 7% (according to one liberal on npr). though the depressions of 1907 & 1920 were gone within a year, those were cycles of bubbles &busts. whereas after fdr put laws into place, we didn't have bubbles & busts....the worst we could have were recessions. but weve been getting rid of those laws since 80s

  • jesus christ would people stop with the obama scare stories? i dont agree w/ him on everything but he's doing his best damnit. he's trying to fix the economy, get out of iraq, & save the environment. he's opened up med mar. stem-cell research which has the potential to save lives including it could have been better used to saving r reagans life; he's trying to save capitalism by saving banks w/ your money in them!, and he's done it all with a 95% tax cut.

we're better off than we were Jan. 19

  • say what you want about obama. but has it ever occured to you that saving capitalism is a mistake?

  • Would you like to suggest a better alternative?

  • i would, and thank you for asking. considering the scale of this green movement i bet it wouldn't be too hard to get people working on the big renewable energies like geothermal and the various hydroelectric ones. after establishing enough of these plants, energy will be abundant, and can eventually be given away for free. we can use cutting edge machine technology to automate the plants completely so nobody has to be kept on a payroll. hell, you may even get volunteers to help opperate it.

  • Comment removed

  • after we have free energy, we can use that to establish a free nationwide (and via satellites, worldwide) telephone and internet network. eventually, that can be given away for free as well. advanced agriculture and hydroponics allow us to grow plants just about anywhere, and that includes the inner cities. it wouldn't be long before we've got massive stockpiles of food all over, grown by automated factories and such. we continue in this fashion until all the things we need are free for all

  • the RE INDUSTRIALIZATION OF HEMP

  • i concour, re-industrializing hemp by itself could probably turn the economy around, as well as make the world a much better place. making hemp plants illegal was one of the worst mistakes and crimes in U.S. history.

  • @DaveEZ2009

    well said.

  • Actually a really great speech. Very detailed, illuminating and, well, not catering in the slightest to idiots.

Which means it's gonna get dismissed straight away without being listened to and thought about by a lot of people.

    Goddamnit.

  • Intermission:

    watch?v=SzoQtq0MLeg

  • @ArtNGame215: okay, i'll give you the "take your nwo conspiracy theory and shove it" crap

  • "You're trying to satisfy your ego because in your version on reality, you are intelligent."

    (mirror) Great self-analysis

"... the immature and undeveloped tone of intellect that your response symbolized."

(mirror)...Ahh your first response to me

Your schitck of pseduo-intellectualism is a bit nauseating. Wondering if in the past somebody repeatedly called you stupid, thus now as an adult you have to keep telling yourself your smart and everyone else is stupid. What was the original topic?

  • Your original point. Giving ALL the money in stimulus package to small business instead of banks. I stated part of the money in the stimulus package is directed to small business...ALREADY. See "Obama acts to aid small business" NYT March 16, 2009 ..for more details.

Allowing the banks to collapse is horrible idea which will occur if Obama implemented your idea. How will dumping all the money into small business help in the car industry and home market?

  • Banks collapse....No Loans, No access to credit ...Banks are simply ignored in your solution even though ....they are pivotal sector that drives the economy.

How are you so sure ..people will have jobs if there are NO customers to buy the product? Its a balancing act that requires a multi-pronged approach. Not just a single solution.

Obama is 100 steps ahead of you.

  • My comment must have hit the mark. If you have to give it a grade. lol . You seem to be overcompensating.... Instead of stating your point.... You spend more time in this tangential spiral of stupidity.

You indeed have an EGO ...that's probably more of a problem than you are willing to admit.. The irony is that .....you are what you are preaching against. BEING a prick. lol "Be the example you wish others to emulate?"

GIVE me a break OLD man. "I asked for what?" Your EGO?

  • Dismissive? lol ...hey pot meet kettle.

There are world reknowned economists that know more in there little pinky than you will ever know in your life time...on both sides of political spectrum that agree with Obama's plan....but realityalarmclock (larger than life EGO) will show us the way.

I apoligize..Instead of using the term stupid.. I should have used the term simplistic, too one dimensional, a sophmoric approach to a complex problem. Giving money to small business already in his plan

  • Obama # 1

  • Stop being cool and learn how to be a KILLING MACHINE.

  • I am the fixer.

  • See administration.

    I'm not so bad.

After all we are all still here.

    Right?

    right

  • Let me interpret Obamas teleprompter:

I will take over all the industry that I can. People are hurting and I feel your pain. I gave the middle class a $600/ yr reduced taxes (even though my wife scoffed at that in the Bush administration), I will raise taxes on energy (its called cap and trade and EPA)

Hey, if Bill got Monica, you think I can get an intern too, my wife is an ugly dog. We need a better make up artists, perhaps a painter can make her look better.

  • obama is a sad poorch monkey nigger

  • Let me just say that I have a lot more respect for Obama than I did Bush. I may be a conservative, but I am a patriot first and foremost. Any president, regardless of party, who authentically cares about the people of this country and our great nation has my full support and utmost respect. Should President Obama prove faithful and possess true integrity and fortitude then he shall be an honorable man indeed.

  • Too many corporations take advantage of their position and cause great damage to our economy and citizens. I believe they SHOULD be monitored and held accountable. Here is where decisions become extremely tricky (as to liberty vs. big government) and people could be easily tricked. This is where President Obama's integrity, or lack thereof, will shine through. Only a man with truly good intentions for our nation will be able to resist the temptation to abuse his power. This is where we wait...

  • 1. in comparison to a republican ...it is.

    2. Did I mention FM radio? or are you Assuming ...I thought it was something special?

    3. A person who claims no party affiliation ...I put in one of two categories....a spineless republican in the closet or those who are truely independent (these people are objective ) ....you do not appear to be .

    4. I really don't give a flying fig who you study.

    5. If new to youtube not all comments are directed at you thus the world does not revolve around U

  • Yawn....are you trying to show yours?

You seem to be obsessed with the AM line.

  • Your argument is still pretty stupid considering you leave out ... the majority who are not employed by small businesses and allow banks and....insurance companies LIKE AIG to fail. Single bullet approach won't work. Employees of the small business can't get LOANS for cars, houses without BANKS sherlock. How are you going to stimulate the rest of the economy simply by giving loans to small business?

Funny you sound like you are mirroring your own comments. I suggest you take your own advice.

  • My recommendations: U Recalibrate=take some time to be quiet and reflect.....don't interject into a conversation that initially had nothing to do with you. Then come back ..without the EGO you claim not to have ...then state your point without the tude. Be the example you wish others to emulate.

  • That's incorrect ...I was called a "Liberal" and I correctly identified where most of his rhetoric originated from"AM conservative radio."

Arrogance? or simply the reality of the situation.

Its well known CONSERVATIVE outlets like AM Talk radio, fox news, .Hannity, RUSH often refer to people on the left as liberals and are participating in a campaign of misinformation in regards to the stimulus package. If this is news to you please get out more. You CLEARLY are being intentionally dense.

  • Sounds like you are promoting trickle down economics. we've given business billions in subsidies ...with the hope that they hire more workers and then they end up shipping jobs overseas. Last 8 years has shown the opposite of what you are saying. Big Business will hire more employees in China or some other third world country without regulations.

Obama plan is right on the mark. The US economy cannot survive without the banks. Money will be more evenly distributed if banks are functioning14:58

  • jobrien2001: The Ron Paul tea party was real.

I really don't think the current one is.

It was drummed up by the Neocons and Fox and its fueled by angry Mccain/Palin supporters that have absolutely no direction except to vent their rage.

And the agenda of its sponsors is for it to only serve as a distraction.

    Sorry its true.

  • jobrien2001:

I would explain myself in detail but I'm already on the whitehouse shit list...

    ;)

  • jobrien2001: I want you to point to one educated person in this intellectual sewer...

    One

  • Ha! I cant sorry, I need help for that.

  • hahahahaah

  • Americans have to educate yourselves as to what is really happening within our economy.

Not the dog and pony show you see on T.V.

The Tea Parties are a neocon HOAX!

He's explaining the problem right in the video folks.

The neocons don't like it one bit.

Obama has to have public support when he makes difficult decisions in the near future.

    Educate yourselves!

  • The tea parties are real, but some people dont understand why they go to them. They sense something is wrong but cant put their finger on it.

FOX is trying to hijack them. FOX is a hoax... but they are also smart, they are capitalizing on them and will probably try to dilute the message of the tea parties to fit their neo con views.

  • Jobrien2001,

Someone as educated as you should know that is just the TIP of the iceberg.

  • He is some president

  • How about you STOP spending our money on UNCONSTITUTIONAL THINGS OBAMA!

  • Yeah like Iraq. ooops that was BUSH.

  • please quote to me where the constitution states that?

  • Invading countries illegally? hmmmm you have me stumped. Its not written in the constitution.

  • Actually, the Congress and the Senate approved it.... wait thats in the constitution.... wait that means its not illegal..... holy crap.

  • Basing a decison on what is now known cherry picked fraudulent information????

holy to mergatroids batman...you mean all the info Powel presented to the UN was BOGUS? what does the constitution say about LIES?

  • Lets see... *pulls up constitution*.... well lets see. yup no mention of lies.... thats weird. Oh yeah by the way lying to the UN? HA how many countries do that on a weekly basis.

  • So the basis of the war was a lie. So that's eh illegal. Your counter argument is since other countries lie to UN...the war itself is legal.

Don't bother pulling up the constitution ...with that interpretation might as well use it as toilet paper. Just make stuff up as you go along. What Bush does creating illegal wars, wire tapping LEGAL....Obama trying to stop an economic catastrophe that Bush handed him...illegal. I understand the Republican BS logic. No need to explain it anymore.

  • Woah woah woah, dont go putting words in my mouth. Im not the one who brought up Legality. Oh yes, what obama is doing IS legal. Now weather its constitutional is another thing. Please my little liberal friend, dont put words in others mouths. Thanks.

  • Oh my out of power conservative friend...why isn't the supreme contesting the unconstitutionality of Obama's actions? Are they getting paid off too?

Stop listening to AM talk radio and start dealing in reality. So much misinformation on the airways. Thanks.

  • Paid off?... Wow more putting words in my mouth.

By the way, I never said I voted McCain nor am I republican. Enjoy putting words into peoples mouths to win arguments.

  • You Can't start using the AM "conservative" radio Lingo......then claim to be an independent. ....come on have a backbone. You're like a sniper shooter..... Taking pot shots while claiming some form of anonymity. "Oh I didn't vote for anybody and I'm not a conservative....You LIBERAL"..give me a break.

Funny how no one ever supported Bush/Mccain but they use their same arguments.

  • Use their arguments all I did was say it was unconstitutional?! Seriously man get out of whatever fucked up reality your in! I voted third party. Seriously man get over it.

  • May I ask what your third party is?

  • Yes thats fine, because your being polite.

    Libertarian.

  • Seriously man I dont even agree with the republicans, you need to stop imagining this whole, Liberals are right and republicans are wrong BS. Get over yourself.

  • You need to stop adopting the conservative/republican approach of communicating. You'll be pegged as one of them.

  • Wonder what BS he will talk about next.

The housing bubble started this? Nonsense

When the treasury bubble collapses will he say treasuries started it?

When the dollar plunges will he say the dollar caused it?

Its amazing how people can blindly follow him without knowing anything about the problems.

  • Thanks for your contribution Bush/Mccain supporter. The wisdom that you spout is so profound.

  • jobrien2001,

So people should blindly follow you?

How about try to convince us instead of just say something is "nonsense".

You are complaining about substance, and your complaint has no substance either.

  • I'll throw you a bone since you seem to know very little.

The problems started when the dollar was not backed by gold anymore.

All the dollar debt that is owed to everyone by everyone would have never existed if the dollar was backed by gold.

  • Are you in Canada? I'm sure they can use your sage advice. Don't bother wasting it on us.

  • You are right by saying it would be wasted.

Canada? HA! I would not go to another socialist country... Im sure thats one of the few countries you can point to in a map.

    Go read a book.

  • Jobrien...I sense you don't want to state the country you currently reside in. I can keep a secret. :^) Don't be ashamed.

He reads Ron Powel's website and now he's an authority on running a country.

  • New Jersey

  • Talking to educated people now, its around your bedtime

  • Be sure to exclude yourself from that group.

I'm amazed that you still show interest in the USA after you disowned it ...after moving. Just interested what country you are now so enamored by that would cause you to give the good ole USA the middle finger.

  • jobrien2001:

Yeah losing the gold standard probably defined a "start".

But the problems now are based more around corruption and a lack of transparency.

  • I agree with you on corruption, but disagree with transparency.

To me it always seemed pretty transparent.

It was not a secret that the FED was manipulating interest rates and inflating the money supply.

It was not a secret that politicians received generous donations from big corporations.

It was also not a secret that the US exported less that it imported AKA trade deficit.

There is more to this but... the stage was set for everything else to unravel.

  • amazing speech!!!! keep up the good work!

  • Behaviorism only works if the subject doesn't know about it.

    ;P

  • He is being honest about the problem folks, you should pay attention.

I don't agree with some of the solutions though.

Paul Volckers input would be great right about now.

  • His explanation of Securities sounds an awful alot like the Federal Reserve note

  • Americans are so lucky.

Ugh, I have Gordon Brown. :( He so meh.

  • see my videos (Lendrit Rafuna) or (Vesel Thaqi)

    THX

  • Say hello to the Bilderberg Group for me Obama.

  • He just has to say hello to his Cabinet

  • babies are born thirty six thousand dollars in debt. while he may not having 'ruined' the country in 12 weeks like guy said, he sure is contributing. we're in debt trillions, borrow money from china, spend it OVERSEAS in an un-winnable afgan-paki war, spend god knows how much on the un-winnable drug war all awhile printing more money pillaging the next generation.

  • yeah well obama, those same economists you're taking advice from are the same ones that said this mess would not happen.

  • well said, we need common sense points like that, instead of empty labels like communist and socialist.

  • Too bad this man didn't show up 4 years ago.

G.W. Bush was the wrong man at the wrong time

Obama is the right man at the right place, hopefully not too late

  • Comment removed

  • that's about the dumbest shit i've ever heard

Bush made America look like a wimp when he didn't manage to win a war against a country of only 20 million inhabitants

Obama is just what your country needed, because it was governed by dumb fucks like you

  • i LOVE his plans. I agree with his policies that education, reducing dependence on oil (i.e green collar jobs), health care reform and restructuring the policies of financial system are the things that should be tackled head on to provide a solid foundation.

How I wish my home country has a President like him.

  • I wish I had a projector and a big screen to play this during one of the tea parties. It is always those who don't listen and reason who cast the first stones. Obama is more presidential everyday he is in office. We are lucky to be alive during such a remarkable presidency...so far. I'm sure he has read Julius Caesar and won't make the mistake of being too blinded by his own philosophy and will continue to be open to varying opinions. One thing is for sure, republicans are in trouble.

  • Mr. President, in 1934 FDR realized that Americans needed not only employment but also the inspiration art could provide. Please revive the New Deal and organize a Public Works of Art Project to recruit artists to create works representing the American scene alla 2009.

  • I'm an artist and I am behind this idea, it sounds appropriate

  • History lession every one! Lission to Mr. Presadent!

  • I believe the relationship between the people and the government would strengthen if they would allow us to post video responses.

  • Bush dug our grave site, and you my friend have put us in the coffin and shoved us in the hole.

  • Wow, Obama really knows how to put economic ideas and principles into real terms. If he is not elected to a second term, the American people are seriously retarted.

  • You mean retarded?

  • lies lies lies all that comes out ofyour month are lies lies lies

  • oh wow 45 mins long wtf

who actually watches all this !!!??

uhhhh... i wil unsubcribe now :)

    YAY !

    OBAMA IS ASWOME !:)

  • it is okay sheeple you will be killed soon

  • My ARM expires in 7 years, get ready for the next wave.

  • Excellent!

  • I hear this "downward spiral" in economics too often - it's the same false logic that liberals economists and politicians (both parties) bring up to scare / justify massive capital-spending in nations in recession.

I can't remember when the gov't stimulus programs had happy ending - be it the Great Depression or all that money went into LDC's. The US had many recesssions, yet they emerged unscathed without the gov't intervention (who after all talks about the recession in early 20's)?

  • GM, Ford, and Chrysler need to quit making so many cars that people want to buy and start making cheap renewable energy technologies. They have the capital and the brains, so WHY DONT THEY DO IT?!?!?!? STUPID MANAGEMENT...

  • It seems to me that the problem began when the govt offered down payment assistance programs for low income families offering them as much as $40k toward the purchase if they lived in the home for more than 10 yrs, but the price of the home must be more than $135K driving low prices higher. Then the price of insurance shot up to ungodly amounts - how were these people expected to pay? I've been in RE for 35 yrs - who are they trying to fool? It was designed to fail - it's a takeover!

  • "Governments should practice the same principle as doctors. First, do no harm."

Whoever wrote that line should get a raise. That's about as succinctly as you can get a point across.

  • hoffness: I do agree with you: The Hippocratic Oath is where the phrase comes from. To do no harm, hence the words "Hippocratic Oath". The Oath of the President is an affirmation required by our Constitution before the president can take office is to Swear to keep to the best of his ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States." Where This President has failed so miserably and has committed to make changes without warrant.

  • Yes,Obama!I applaud Obama!

  • Great OBAMA!

  • President Obama has great wisdom.

  • The Obama budget increases federal spending by a fiscally insane 34% over the Bush's budget for last year, with a total of $4 Trillion in federal spending, the highest ever! That equals 28.5% of GDP, an increase in the size of government for Obamas first year of 42%!!!!

The deficit will be $1.845 Trillion this year, according to the CBO — the highest ever since World War II. More than 4x Reagans largest deficit, which caused so much howling among liberals and Democrats. So where are they now?

  • Like the part on 26:20. We really need invest abroad, and with state rep for our companies, so we can have a more equal trade.

  • nig

  • trrippyy>>>>you can criticize pres obama for the job he is doing and bla..bla..but tell me why the fuck you have to call him a nig?

you are a fucking animal! you belong with the baboons not with the humans!

if that's not clear to you i got 1 more for you:

    RACIST COCKSUCKER!

    about that?

  • haha dude i only say nig cause it pisses people like you off haha. i voted for obama and i have the most respect for him i just say "nig" to piss people like you off. thanks for showing me how easy you get pissed

  • It started getting really scary for me after 28:00... Anyone else?

  • New rules for banks to adhere to. No abuse of postions in banks, protection of American families when buying houses, new education bill..to prepare our future gradutes..expansion of early childhood education, new rewards for teachers who do well, tax credits...etc nope nothing scary there...

  • rhsguy>>>tell me something didn't we just got off 8 years of less government less taxes and smaller government? did it work? so why don't you just wait and give another idea a chance?

and just to let you know the government is made up of US! stop being so negative!

  • ozne64-

You call George Bush's government small? You obviously know nothing about American History. 100 years ago we didn't even have 1/10th of the government we have today. They actually have government positions to oversee government positions that oversee government positions. It is out of control. This idea had its chance when Jimmy Carter tried a couple dozen years ago. Learn your history before you call someone out. Much respect, but you are wrong.

  • @leebee39 suck my dick twice

  • What strikes many about the size of our crisis is the amount of decades old troubles that have been swept under the rug only to be approached now in a dramatic cleaning of the system.

Building now for what we will need in the future is the right goal, it is of common benefit and just.

We no longer simply imagine someone willing, able and dedicated to guiding that reality, we instead have the honor of living that reality.

Thank you Mr. President, God Bless you and your family.

  • Thank You Mr President. You persistent message paves ever more confidence that America's best days are still ahead.

  • "Obama explains his Large"

    clicked...

    Doh!

  • lmao at least I'm not the only dirty minded person. Although I have been subscribed so I knew it was posted from the whitehouse ... but we all know Obama has quite the sense of humor. I love this man!

  • Your right. You are Bush's slave. Did you have a problem with taxes under Bush?

  • haha, income tax keeps you safe both domestically and against international threats.

  • The nutjobs helped to create this mess. Former Pres Reagan began shipping our jobs overseas under the disguise that we would be helping those countries in need. However, the whole plan was to save businesses money, open slave shops in the world, and create a population of consumers in the U.S. rather than savers. It's a joke and it's no longer funny! PATHETIC! Republicans dont govern well. Their montra:cut taxes for the rich but NEVER balance the budget. Think about it & check the facts.
