  • 8=====================D

  • @TheElpatron19 Where did you find my dick? I have been looking for days!

Oh, the way I do it is:

    B=========D~ ((  xo

  • Simply the best band in the world right now.

  • i was going through depression once in my llife i prayed and listen to ( ) and i was in tranquility it helped very good fuckin music!

  • What album is this on?

  • 6:20 blows my mind , but so does the whole band

  • gosto do jeito como ele canta

  • Can I play this on a VLC Media Player? I want to know what it sounds like sped up 800%.

  • @wollam11 why in the world...

  • @jpthehp Rumor is Justin Beiber sounds like Sigur Ros when slowed down 800%. I wanted, in jest, to see if the inverse is true.

  • @wollam11 Yea, if you slow "U Smile" down 800 %, Justin Bieber actually isn't that bad. I would find a link for you, but apparently, the track isn't available anymore.

ANYWAY, Sigur Rós is still way more beautiful, than a slowed down Justin Bieber will ever be.

  • i heard that my friend passed away about 30 minutes ago and from this moment on.. i'm just listening to sigur ros. best thing i can do now. so beautiful and bittersweet. i love these guys.

  • Holy crap. I love this right now.

Words can't describe the feeling I get from this song. Just everything is peace, everything is right in the world. If only everyone listened to this :)

  • the very best. i love Sigur Ros...

  • i think you listen to it too loudly.

  • SO Magical :o a perfect moment.

Sigur Ros <3 thx from France

  • Jonsi and Bjork need to tour together!! It'd be so magical, don't you think? ;) I absolutely love them both! We need more artists like that!! <3

  • @whateverthiswilldo

I would say it's because Jonsi has the voice of an angel.

  • ...........................divine

  • How does he sing into his pickups so easily? I feel like others, like Isaac Brock, have to yell so much louder and it is so much less clear.

  • INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!! How You can UPLOAD 28 MINUTES????? Please Tell Me in a Private Misage because I'm VERY INTERESTING IN THIS!!!!!

SIGUR RÓS IS THE BEEEEST BAND ON THE PLANET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NO DOUBT!!!!!!!!!

  • Sigúr ros,il miglior gruppo dai tempi dei Pink Floyd!!!

  • takk

  • how can words discribe music like this?

    it's just - wow!!!

  • you must not have a large enough vocabulary...

  • Che bella sensazione farsi solleticare l'anima...solo voi ci riuscite SIGUR ROS!

  • increible!!

  • I wouldn't agree that it was their best, but I enjoyed it nonetheless.

  • como se llama el ultimo tema???

  • olsen olsen. Tarde pero no mucho...

  • Sigur Ros.Open'er Heineken 2006. Cos pieknego...

  • the first two seconds looked like Blue Velvet...

  • thanks for this

    they r just ............

    can't find the word

yes just exacty what i need

  • The band next to the Album Leaf that got me to use minimalist and post-rock stuff in my music. One of the best bands ever, hands down.

  • no1 could be better

  • Sigur Ros owns my soul!

  • Ditto.

  • Sin duda la mejor banda del mundo. Los amo

  • The only band that makes the hairs on my arms stand up.

  • sigur ros=perfection

  • Dude's a fan of Jimmy Page no doubt...

  • He never mentioned that. He said he started using the cello bow by pure coincidence and experimenting since originally the bass player tried using it on the bass, and that sucked so he took it instead.

  • Then the bass player used a stick. lol

  • I am SO glad I found this! I used to watch the HBO Reverb programs religiously - this was always my favorite. I don't know exactly what it is, but every time I hear them I can't help but be at peace.

  • it fuckin kills me that i never saw them when they came to california. i wasnt a huge fan then but now im fuckin in love with them. seeing them live would be a lifechanging experience and i am fucking jelaous of anybody whos been to any of their shows. WHEN WILL THEY TOUR AGAIN! AAAAHHHHH

  • Ive seen them 5 times and also traveled from Edinburgh to London to see Jonsi in his solo show. They are recording a new album after he's finished the solo stuff so go see them they will blow your mind and if you can buy Heima the dvd its amazing.

  • @kingdomjared It actualy IS a life changing experience. I was close to miss them cause I was going to buy tickets for Mogwai in NYC(it was the same date, Sept. 18th 2008), and I can't remember why I didn't buy them, but it was the best desicion/heavenly intervetion I've ever had.

  • awesome

    thanks zaoenchrist

  • once i do want to see this live with somebody who s woth it

  • wow

  • Essa banda mudou todo o meu conceito musical. Estou conhecendo agora e confesso, estou simplesmente apaixonado!

  • Simplesmente fenomenal!

  • I wish that sigur ros come to lithuania. great band.

  • they'd sound angry all the time then :P

  • why?

  • This was the first time I saw Sigur Ros, when they aired this show back in HBO. I was so amazed I couldn't stop crying out of the impression. Last year I saw them in NYC and I had that feeling again, my heart in my throath, my jaw almost on the floor, and tears running in my cheeks. I can't think of anything more intense than Sigur Ros playing live...

  • im suprised that 14:52 worked so well. what a great effect.

  • Wasn't this episode of Reverb incredible? Bjork was the other half of the episode performing at the Riverside Church. She did the hits from the Homogenic and Vespertine albums. She was the reason that many tuned into this episode of Reverb. Sigur Ros stoled the show. Ágætis byrjun was just released in the states so this was Sigur Ros first exposure. Sigur Ros became the new face of Icelandic music.

  • Gosh this brings back all the memories of going to see them live. They are so unbelievably amazing, they can't be human, they must be Gods :) love how Jonsi uses the bow, sounds like mountains moving or something similar. Such a vast, beautiful sound.

  • once you've heard them live you'll never be the same

  • @ladylore9

    Yes...Like a TRIP :-)

  • @ladylore9 SOOOO very true

  • Sorry , but maybe you need to understand two things before commenting here. First, MUSIC and second, CREATIVITY.. Come back once you know little about these two . See ya, till then.

  • hehe. so he is not welcome here until? I wonder if I know enough about these two.. this is making me nervous, what if I cant be here?

  • I freekin love Sigur Rós,i cant wait until they come back to edinburgh..they are amazing..

  • Why so much hate with the comments on this video when the song represent heaven on earth?

  • wow i like this band and music. but ya'll are a bunch of cry babies in cry baby house.

  • what's the name of the 1st song?

  • Ny Batteri

  • Always gives a smile in my heart.

  • SUBLIME

  • claramente dice: philadelphia

  • "motherfucker"?? I can write in English, you can in Castilian?...

why so much aggression? if you knew more than one language, understand

  • Well, ininomis is a fuckin ignorant, so, fuck him. Racist pig.

  • next time u will know ......

  • know what?

  • THATS SO SICK HES USING A VIOLIN STICK (dont know name sorry) TO PLAY THE GUITAR-Svefn g Englar is the sickist with that tool then he speaks into the guitar to alter voice.

  • actually, it's the bow of a cello.

  • Haha- A VIOLIN STICK! HE'S USING A VIOLIN STICK!!! I love the bit where he sings into the guitar, sounds so nice.

  • It's called a bow, and it definitely creates a unique sound when used on a guitar. It all sounds brilliant

  • This is so incredible... Agaetis Byrgun has to be their best album...

  • Feels like... like heaven...

  • best weird band ever..

  • Fantastic

  • Their studio albums are great but nothing like their live show.

  • how do i get this on dvd?!

  • I saw them live and I thought they were incredibly on the records they made but live they did something what no other band ever could do to me they were incredible!!!!

  • tool was my favorite band.. but then i heard sigur ros.. woooow, and im not saying i like it more than tool, because its the first time i hear them, but its really impressing, and beautiful

  • i would like to see tool do some bowed guitar stuff. not to sound like sigur ros but it would be pretty cool cuz tool is also so creative.

  • guess led zeppelin did use the bow

  • Semplicemente strepitosi...

  • STOP DISSECTING THE MUSIC!

  • epic.

  • I cut my musical teeth on the Progressive Rock era. I never thought that anyone thereafter could ever challenge the shear power & majesty of YES, EL&P, Pink Floyd, RUSH, Van Der Graff Generator, Moody Blues, Genesis, WHO, King Crimson, etc. but I happily concede that today's music is better than ever. With bands like Sigur Ros (I'm a fan for 10 years), Nightwish, Muse, Radiohead, Amethystium (super incredible 1 man band), etc., I think the musical baton has been passed without dropping.

  • Definitely..... wait, Nightwish?

  • lol

  • ...no, seriously. Nightwish???

  • Yeah no nightwish!

  • I'm a music junky! As a Nightwish fan of 3 years I own all their CDs & DVDs. It's a matter of taste but I think they're one of the all-time greatest Power Rock bands I've heard. They've both male & female vocals. Tarja was replaced by Anette recently. Truely epic sound. Songs like, I Wish I had an Angel, Islander, Over The Hills & Far Away, Amaranth, & Pink Floyd's High Hopes marks them as worthy of listening. Many who hear them for the first time consider them their new favorite band.

  • OK, never heard of this Nightwish but have heard of most of the others. A few suggestions for Nightwish that I should check out considering that I like Sigur Ros?

  • they're nothing alike (hence all the "nightwish???" comments). nightwish is a power-metal/symphonic metal band (think iron maiden meets evnescence) complete with spooky wardrobe and pointy guitars. An integral part of any 13-year-old's transition from child to adult.

  • Like you... I love this song!! Luvyaishk

  • Ný Batterí

    Svefn-g-englar

    Olsen Olsen

    So magic...

  • They're just ... great! there's nothing more to say (;

  • f'in heavy metal (for moving really slow). :)

  • whats the title of the 1st song? can anybody tell me? Please.

  • it's called Ny Batteri

  • If I ever get to heaven it just HAS to sound like this

  • id love that

  • ICELAND BE PROUD OF SIGUR' ROS

  • I´seen Sigur Ros in Germany at the Hurricane Festival in Scheeßel! And when Songs came the Sky became a weird formation. 70000 people were looking at the sky with these songs! It was a very Magic Moment!

  • I LOVE SIGUR ROS!!!

  • Just ♥

  • Be Proud ICELAND!!!!

  • What's most amazing is that they were between 18 and 20 years old when the wrote this music.

I bow my head in awe......

  • i love sigur ros so much... i hope they never change their style like most bands do at some point.

  • i think they just did go to their myspace and listen to the new song its different but still amazing

  • I think gobbledigook is a one off though... I've only heard previews of the other songs, but they're not as mainstream/accessible as gobbledigook. it's a great song regardless

  • *Svefn g Englar" is the most beautiful song I know of! Ever!

  • yea...

  • i wish they sang just a little bit more becaseu he has a beautiful voice

  • just amazing.

  • Svefn-G-Englar, my favourite ...

Keep playing with your magic bow Jonsi <3

  • definatley one of the greateat bands around

  • watch Heima !!!!!!!!

  • Man, that's one of the best concert DVD's i've ever seen. Do with there were more songs on it though like ny batteri, the nothing song, i gear, ect. Still a great movie though.

  • whats the dvd called?

  • Heima O.o

  • are you sure? i have heima this aint on it its a two disc set dvd of sigur ros footage and music

  • When I replied the first time it was to kokobedima's comment to watch Heima. This is from some TV show I believe and these were the only 3 tracks played. Sorry for the confusion. Heima is still a great piece of art though.

  • Mit keiner anderen Band vergleichbar, die hauen ja ein Meisterwerk nach dem anderen heraus!Geniale Künstler, anbetungswürdig!

  • this is my favourite sigur ros video!

  • There seems to be some debate/confusion about what songs are in this video... let me say, with absolute confidence, that the songs are:

    1) Ny Batteri

    2) Svefn-G'Englar

    3) Olsen Olsen

now, i might have spelled something wrong or whatever but these are the correct names of the songs

    Hope that helps!

  • This gives a real meaning to life.

  • what's the name of the third song? i really like it

  • olsen olsen

  • If God exist, He must look like to Sigur Ros.

  • why must god be he?

    or look,

    or be

  • its a simple statement

im sure he doesnt actually mean

    sigur ros is god

    let it go

  • BEST EVER

  • You'd think that this video would have more than the 11:12 version that only has Svefn G Englar.

  • a classic live ever.

  • I love this deep and strong sound from the bowed guitar.

I could listen to it for hours.

And Sigur Ros sound in general ...

    Thanx for the video

  • They are simply brilliant! I MUST see them live before I die.

  • agreed

  • I fucking agree. D<

  • and then u must have their music at my funeral too,

  • I actually am gonna do just that....gonna have "Njósnavélin" played at mine. :P

  • untitled #1 for me. its sad but happy at the same time, rejoicing life, but mourning death

  • I thought I was the only one who ever heard of this band! This episode of reverb had Bjork live also. I wore out the video tape I recorded this on. Thanx for posting this!

  • Sigur Ros are touched by God. There is no other band that comes close to understanding sound like they do.

  • oh my lord this is incredible

  • svefn-g-englar is perhaps the greatest song ever written and they play it even better live than on the cd. i cant put into words the feelings that come out when i here sigur ros play their music. its unexplainable. but perfect. absolutely perfect. im in love with their music.

  • I can't hit these high notes...

I lost all the cds I had when I became homeless ahah

Ispent my student loan on them all.

    sigur make me happy.

    von is the best. :)

  • que dire a part que jamais je n ai entendu un truc pareil... je ne sais plus qui je suis d ou je viens ! je suis un homme transformé merci sigur ros de m avoir emmené si loin et je crois bien que jamais je n aurai envie de revenir!

  • Jonsi's profile during Ny Batteri is so erie.

Love this video. Where did you find it?
