Just went there today. Believe me guys, this park KICKS truckloads of ass!! Sure, it was Cypress Gardens. But from one absurd concept (floral theme park) to another (toy line based theme park) the Lego people brought their "A" game when they designed Legoland. My favorite was all the "Mini Cities" with a level of detail that it's just plain ridiculous.
I loved it when it was cypress gardens. However it wasn't making money, but they've kept the gardens and have a waterski show. Surprised they didn't call it legoland cypress gardens to attract a wider audience
I think they did a fairly good job with the park. Remember, Legoland is geared toward children. You cannot compare Legoland to Disney. They are not trying to be Disney. Also this was a special preview before the official opening of the park to guests so there is not going to be that many people. I wish people would read the video descriptions before making their negative comments. I am thankful we can still enjoy parts of Cypress Gardens without it being permanently closed.
5:43 thats not what it really looks like in LA. There are kids in the wrong lane... kids running over trees... personally I think it's the dumbest idea in kid's theme park history.
Legoland looks very nice. I don't get all of the negative comments. You do realize the park is meant to be geared towards kids right? If you base it off of that, this is one nice little park!
Too survive against the powerhouses in Central Florida. Legoland will need to both be innovative and worry about quality much more so than quantity. You're not going to beat Universal or Disney in quality or quantity if your Legoland. HOWEVER, quality is much more appealing to the eye and therefore will draw more people to the park. Legoland's got their work cut out for them but I feel that they may be able to be a nice alternative to Disney for the little ones.
@TheRyanLamont I agree. I love legos as much as the next person, but I'm REALLY surprised that something SO limited in concepts as a Lego only themed park ever "took off". Seems so small minded to limit yourself to ONE theme....and a theme that's just.....ok.
@Kendraco1 EXACTLY! That's why parks like Disney succeed & Legoland Fl is already struggling. Walt built parks where the parents could have fun WITH their kids on rides that thrill all ages, not just ages 3-6. haha
My son would have a blast. He's 13 but loves Legos!! Builds planes freehand no pictures other than what is in his mind. Don't think I could contain his excitement lol.
Wow, there is many AAA members!

It doesn't look as fun as the other parks. Mostly seems for little Boys who play with them. >>;

@TheRyanLamont Their design team needs some improvement. Did you see those ceiling tiles. That is a big no no, especially for a theme park.
