@MrOdomant oh and to add to that, my mum is macedonian and is as darker then someone latin like jennifer lopez. my mum has absolutely no gypsy blood going back 5 generations. she also has been mistaken many times as a gypsy . so its an assumption that macedonians are "white eurpeans"
I have some friends -- Bulgarians from Greek Macedonia. They are white people like the Greeks and Serbs. I have been to Belgrade, Sofia, Athens, and Skopje. The highest percentage of peolpe that I saw who resemble Tartars, Arabs, and Gypsies are the ones of Skopje, who call themselves "ethnic Macedonians." The Bulgarians, Greeks, and Albanians from Macedonia are definitely whites. Even the Turks are lighter in complexion than the "ethnic Macedonians." BTW, I am of Armenian origin.
@MrOdomant u are basing it of 1 city Skopje, the most diverse city in Macedonia. I was born there, &have been everywhere in Maco, enough 2 know skopje is different. stating that we are "greek macedonians" is1 of the most offensive things to say to Macedonian. There is confusion on where we came from, Greece, bulgaria... ancient history shows we have never used the greek language so it's hard 2 assume. u are confusing who gypsies are. They arent macedonian they are in all countries.
well gypsies aren't ethnic macedonians. There are gypsies in romania, serbia, russia, croatia etc, & those gypsies in all of those countries r not ethnically macedonian. u may have been to those countries & u may feel as if u can visually make a comparison but historically u can't. I was born and grew up in macedonia and know otherwise. Note that ur original question was what type of music this was. its not gypsy its macedonian, but the people in the band may have differing origins.
@MrOdomant they are actually macedonian. this is a popular wedding song, its a fast "oro" (circle dancing) song, and Macedonians are slavic, right next to serbia etc. Not gypsies or tartars or african arabs. way off.
@MrOdomant I can also verify from their biography the band are macedonian. there are such things as dark coloured macedonians who aren't gypsies. Cane Petrov, Antonio Ivanovski, Angel Mitovski, Nikola Jovanov, Novica Vasilevski and Igor but i forgot his last name.
@MrOdomant yeah i dont know what the point is of arguing, when you are definately not making an educated conclusion you are making an assumption of places you have been to, which is not the best thing to do espcially to someone like me whose passionate about Macedonian and slavic ancient history and who actually is macedonian. no point we wont get anywhere. guess lets agree to disagree.

Is this Tartar or Gypsy music?
Many of the people in the video look like Tartars and Gypsies, while others resemble African Arabs.
