wow da story line was wayz too fast...needed more episodes. Also that doctor dude in the beginning episodes threw off the anime, didn't know whether the anime was going to be a comedy act the whole way so I kinda didn't want to watch it. It was alright though, wouldn't say this was a great anime in my opinion

Not a bad anime at all. Possibly the best I've seen in my life. My one complaint would be Nyarlathotep (any version of him) would never be as careless as to be defeated that easily. But hey, it's an anime about love and justice and all that, so it's excused. You can't really stick the kind of ending Nyarlathotep would cause in one of these.

@RomanceHeartbreaking Basically, Kuro and Al-Azif from the True End of the Demonbane visual novel had become Elder Gods. The two travel to the anime timeline to save that incarnation of Al-Azif from eternal oblivion (which is her route's Normal End in the VN) so she and Kuro can finally be together and have a normal life in peace.

3/10 for the anime overall.

1) Nylarthotep is an Outer One, he cannot die. Also he is male, not female. His only recorded human form is that of an egyption pharoh.

2) Cthulhu was treated as something you can call upon at will and use. He is not Y'Golonac, he is not that easy to summon.

3) Dagon was...lackluster in ability to say the least.

4) Yog-sothoth wasn't shown in the gate. He is the guardian between worlds, why was he not present?

Well no offense to the anime, but I see why original fans of series don't like anime version. I haven't played the game, but I have read the novels. Frankly, this anime didn't cover so many stuff that novels(And mostly the game which is cannon source.) have shown. Like Leica as Metatron. Massive battle at the sea.

And many battles seem too short compared to novels. Then again, it must be something to do with budget...

This is a good anime ep. At first I thought it would be like most of the others with a bad ending for being so short but it was actually one of the best endings I've seen in a while. If you want to see another anime like that watch MoonPhase. Its about the same but with Vampires.XD The other is Code Geass the ending to the second season was very good but sad.

well after Al sent Kurou back and driftes in infinate space, the Elder Gods Korou and Al-Azif (they replaced Nyarlathotep as the new gods after destroying her) rescue her and bring her right back to Arkham to let her be with Kouro again....and the gods have control over time and space so thats how it was possible for both versions of Kouro and Al to be there at the same time...

thats about as simple as i can explain it....if your still confused then sorry...

not really they alwayz ended in a tie and Nyarlathotep alwayz reset time from the beginning until Korou and Al finally learned their ultimale attack which they used on Nyarlathotep...Therion and his manual also seemed to be the only one that remembered Korou from before. thats why he wanted to be killed that badly too.

its Korou and Al-Azif given Nyarlathotep position as Elder Gods...and since they were in a place where time and space was infinite, they returned back to when Al sent Kouou back home and also did the same to her cuz deep down they wanted to be together...so in a weird sense the gods granted there own desire tho her.
