OMG you painted a hardwood that was probably mahogany, that CRAPPY color of red?? How about stripping, sanding and refinishing it instead? The end result was NOT worth the effort. If I wanted "Plastic" I would have painted it. Wood, especially the old hardwoods, DESERVE to be refinished (ONLY).
