@xboxlivemgear I use the comand knob 99% of the time. Most people, including myself, only drive with one hand. And it's not like you need to keep your hand on it the entire time. And I agree that Audi isn't that special. So does a lot of the u.s. Population as they have very poor sales figures. But you can't base all luxury cars off of just one. Check out the 2012 c-class. You can't beat the overall package you get for starting at $33k.

According to Forbes, Mercedes cars (Not trucks or SUVS) are some of the least satisfying to own considering the amount you pay and the build quality. Not to mention the repair costs when they are a mass produced car just like every other one on the road today. Every car in the US has to pass a quality check, that means every car atleast has the same, or close to the same build quality as it's all done by robots now. Maybe not the stitching.

And furthermore, does not have ANYTHING to do with actual quality, as is quality of components, drivetrain, build materials, or design. All it means is that it was put together correctly... Repair costs on any European car are expensive. And if you compare Audi to Mercedes, Audi is MUCH more expensive to repair....

@PantstofryPWNZ Looks are an opinion. I personally like Mercedes-Benz styling MUCH more than boring BMW and audi's subjective styling, but thats why baskin robins has 31 different flavors. I think you are misunderstanding, you can turn off ESP in a Mercedes, and it will let you do burnouts, etc, but when it detects an emergency situation (such as one in the video, driving at high speeds with wheel slipage) even if ESP is off it will prevent the car from losing control.

@PantstofryPWNZ You can get a mercedes for like $35,000 with such a system, and thats sticker. And it would probably only kick in to prevent you from doing severe drifts. But the ESP system in the ///AMG models is much more sophisticated and will not interfere when you go to the track. Afterall, the regular cars aren't meant to track, but the ///AMG ones are.

Why would you use the armrest when driving, you are meant to be holding the steering wheel, not taking a snooze while letting the adaptive do the straight line driving for you.
