robin, the news? We are talking about a company who make vital components that make the bombs more acurate. Without this company the bombs would be less accurate. They also help in wars which are not 'illegal' and vital to sustain our freedoms. If we didnt have an army, weapons etc., we'd be fecked.
Sorry can I just add that Cars are great and that they are the ONLY way in which the Public Highway should ever be used. They also never kill anyone or pollute our cities. The only form of protest should be writing letters and emails becuase the govenment pays great attention to these. We shouldn't ever do anything to prevent kids dying in Iraq incase we case we cause too much noise and midly upset a child in the UK.
I think you'll find, 'moonwatcher', that you were holding up a bus, you know, public transport, not pollution filled off-road SMV's but a bus, full of single mums, OAPs and people WITHOUT their own car, trying to do their bit for the environment. I'm not exaggeration when I say that SOME of the protesters WERE drunk, and only there fun the thrill of it. I'm still nonethewiser as to what the protest was about, good work!
Well perhaps you should have read one of the leaflets which were handed out rather than basking in your moral outrage.
Yep some people got held up on their journey a little while, this happens becuase of roadworks and traffic congestion all the time. This is a society and we all have a right to use the road for legal purposes. This includes travel and democractic protests.
Stop trying to wind people up and go do something worthwhile.
Moonwatcher 'legal purposes' looked like the old bill had to push people away and run up to North Street, my guess is that part wasn't planned, therefore not lawful (think SOCPA).
Moonwatcher 'legal purposes' looked like the old bill had to push people away and run up to North Street, my guess is that part wasn't planned, therefore not lawful (think SOCPA).
You mean you killed a tree to get your message across!!!!! Typical "im always right and you're wrong" attitude. I cant help but thinking you rely on the cops being there. It makes you feel safer. If they werent there and you started stopping traffic and sitting in the road, and there were no cops around or indeed on their way, youd get seriously hurt by angry MOPs. You know its true. In some way you feel somewhat comforted by their indigo coats.
Yes everybody on the protest was drunk and we also rape babies. The police are wonderful and they only blocked the march, and filmied and photographed protesters for their own good. Of course everyone who supports us is lying, we are in fact so evil that we can make people do this at will. We do this by "holding them and their crying children" againt thier will mwhaha
I should think the few drivers who do "appear" to support the protest are probably feeling awkward or concerned for there car as protesters ARE scary and often unpredictable.
Can you not just be a bit more productive, write letters emails etc. I may even agree with your cause but I will not support you because of the way you conduct your business, you've lost a supporter there!
abtrax your so full of shit it stinks from here. you fabricate nonsense to make your points, find something better to do, maybe a few years back at school.
Robin - Is that an educated response: "you're full of shit, yeah". Come on now, you can do better than that. I do know for a fact that there were older people on that bus and people without cars as I was on the bus and we were annoyed. You lost everyone on that bus' support. We were not best pleased. What had we dont to you, or indeed the people of Iraq. Could you not go and hold up traffic outside Downing Street? North Street is full of inocent people...
yes i can do better than that. I wasn't actually there, and I don't hold up buses, its stupid and counter productive. but there are more important things. people like you moan about the serious problems of traffic disruption but don't give a shit about men women and children who die every day at the wrong end of weapons made right here in brighton. you were on the bus? you seem to spend an unhealthy amount of time following protest movements and making negative comments. is it fun?
I was on a Bus, yes. Well done. If you live in Brighton you will understand how small the place is. We know everything about everything. You guys protest all the time up at EDO and outside Starbucks in St. James Street. It just annoys me. You are wasting your time going to EDO, they make a tiny release mechanism for a part that MAY be used in wars. It is also used with our armed forces to protect THIS country.
Why dont you actually go to a bomb factory and protest? Otherwise where will it end, you go after the company who make the paint that go on bombs? Or a company who make metal that they use? Come on, do something productive. What have you achieved in the years at EDO and the protests in the street, other than annoying the hell out of ordinary Britonians?
we do go to the bomb factory and protest. every week for four years. what 'productive' things do you recommend? what do you do that gives you the right to lecture us?
Sorry, i thought it was you who was doing the lecturing. I was on a bu and had it stopped by you guys and your megga-phones telling me that i should stop using a car, i was on a bloody bus!
you thought that but you were wrong, I'm not lecturing anyone. 'you guys' is a baseless generalisation. not once in any of your comments have you given a rational answer to anything, just random negative comments with no evidence or perspective.
You guys obviously means protesters;. If you cant see that then you are being pedantic and whats the point in having a rational conversation, or debate, when you pick out, and go off on tangents, on moot points. Im sorry if Im getting in the way of all your back slapping.
That is, unfortunately, the downside of a freedom of speech type country we live in. If you want me to stop commenting here, then doesnt that go against your own beliefs - freedom of speech, expression and protest.
If you protest outside where they work, why cant I protest where you post videos? Its annoying and pointless isnt it. Youll keep on posting and ignoring me, as you will keep protesting there and they will continue to ignore you. Nothing gets solved.
you get your knickers in a major twist over some hippies shouting on megaphones, but you don't seem to care about the massacre of people in gaza. so your bus was late but you forget there are people in Gaza who have no school or job to go to because of the bombs dropped by tech. made in moulescoomb.
it annoys you, great, doesn't the destruction of Gaza annoy you? some of us have priorities and can see beyond our own noses. besides, they also make bomb guidance systems and other missile components. what they do is instrumental to internationally condemned military aggression.
you are unbelievable- WATCH THE FUCKING NEWS! white phosphorus dropped on whole towns, burning men women and children to the bone. UN centres bombed, UN drivers shot, internationally condemned. you stupid, ignorant, callous dog.
Yeah sure, it's the police who cause the delay, not the drunken protesters dancing in the road while screaming through a megaphone while the kids are scared sh'tless in the back of a roasting hot car, stuck in traffic..I ask again..what was the cause??You blame the police who were ONLY there to protect you, and make sure you don't get smacked by one of the annoyed motorists who you are holding against their will. And good work at getting people to join the protest!!
Wow! That was really productive...what was the cause again????? Try and piss off some people on their way home, really intelligent, annoy the people you're trying to get on side.
Roads are not simply for Cars, they are public highways which people have a democratic right to protest on under UK law.
Many road users gave us their support and if traffic delays are a major issue for you then talk to the police who insisted on blocking the road and stopping the march from moving thus causing more of a delay in the traffic.
Haha well done mate, you commented on my vid so ill comment on yours. Didnt know there were any other EDO uploads.
Yeah i simply edited mine with Windows Movie Maker. Im a media student so its just natural. Need to get some better editing software and the Nokia 6680 i used for filming aint exactly ideal.
