As a military member, I didn't agree with the war, but Saddam had to go......The mission should had been that...and leave. Bush was a terrible planner, and the lack of foresight caused the aftermath. The Iraqi infrastructure should have been left intact, compromises should have been made...and last the Iraq military leadership should have been incorperated in a deal.....The Bush Administration had no brains....and most of all were all chicken hawks...to the iraqis, forget the means..be free!

This is the first time since 2003 viewing this, even then when i viewed my country's people interfering with the symbolic crushing of Saddams statue; i felt like it was something they should have let the Iraqis do, and it was especially embarrassing when that one soldier put the American flag over the face of the statue; it showed arrogance and disrespect towards the Iraqi people, even if the soldier thought he was only helping. People should try to understand one another better.

As for the Kurds, they easily sold their souls to get what they want.  Iraq has long been quoted from the time of the beginning of Islam as a difficult area, and without firm strong power, chaos mainly from the Shia breaks out. Saddam waged an unnecessary war against Iran, but he always put the Iraqis and Iraq on top
