my marlin 60 likes remington anything even the cheap gold 550 stuff. even shoots the rem bulk stuff better than cci. Hates federal and hates winchester even more.

i like the 60 it can be a little slow to load, but i find it quicker to dump about 15 to 20 some odd rounds into my hand, cradle the gun in my left arm ammo in my left hand, pull the tube part way an pick up two or three rounds at a time and drop em in click click click grab a few more ect.

btw load it with 14 cycle it, pull the tube drop two more in for 15+1. cheers

i was thinking about getting a 10/22 for that specific reason, then i discovered in the communist stare of California you can't have 25 round mags. now, i have to strain my fingers and reload mags more often. i think i will get a Model 60 instead.

@busyhands94 10/22 10 round mags at gandermtn are 19.99 a piece...im not sure if buying a ton of them would be very smart considering cost. im also considering all the things you can do to them, and the very easy takedown for cleaning. they are both excellent rifles. go with the 60 because i think its more accurate, considering barrel length.

There really isn't a big draw back between reloading a tubular magazine than a clip magazine. The clip isn't the easiest to load either. Considering the # of rounds the tubular holds, its better.

Remington .22 ammo is filthy shit. It dirties and gunks up my 795 so badly that the last shot bolt hold open doesn't activate after a mag is emptied, despite me being able to activate it manually. But then again, My 795 is still being broken in, so that might have something to do with it.

i made three 15rnd. speed loaders for my Marlin model 60 =] and i pack 15+1 in mine... blaze threw them, pull out the plunger fit the speed loader in the tube fed clip tilt back,cover that loader hole...pull out stuff the plunger back releas,rack! and and i'm ready to role again...total of 60+1rnds =D

@someharleyguy i was shooting a Compound Bow with a friend and one of the arrows broke... well while being bored i started to pop .22 rounds in them and it hit me.... I wounder if they actualy are flush even with the tube fed clip or does it fit (in) it, and sher nuff they fited in the tube fed clip!... so i took three of his broken arrows cut'em down to size to hold 15rnds each, then just kept them ever since...And used it once at the gun range people from all overe where giving me the look =p

@Dro77080 and the Mat's that make the Arrows are Aluminum but you can use the carbon fiber arrow's as well, all though cheaper so is the durability, had a bunch of them snap,crack or splinter when kicking or camping, So yeah there you have it. =]

I usually get two or three bullets lined up in my fingers and drop them in like that when reloading, saves me about 20 seconds vs. reloading one at a time. Remington rimfire sucks. Nice video.

i really like ur video........ i have the 795.... great gun and i only have two 10 round mags... beucase i got one 15 and it did not work... and i couldent get my money back becuase i put it into my gun... just to for worn anyone who watches this vid do not buy the 15 round mags for the 795 they suck :) i liked ur vid

@snowboardking2345 Thanks for the info!! I went and got the 795. The dealer only had the 7 round mags, and they were very CHEAP (original Marlin equipment). So I went with them. I justify they are small by telling myself thaey will be more practical for carrying...lol. Havent even shot the gun yet-it is the stainless/composite. I will post a vid when I do. I really like how small the 795 is though!...... TY

Thanks for posting this video, great video! Long yes, but people who choose to watch this video are interested in it and enjoy every full second of it!

It's been a while now, and they've come out with some new 25rd mags for the 795 since you created this video, it seems to work well with good ammo, and I think it's agreed upon that mini-mags are THE BEST for avoiding FTF and having the smallest groups.
