@Emil308 i agree with u on lbj and dwight but i seriously think blake griffin is knocking on their doors tho. the kid dunks like theres no tomorrow and is gonna be in the dunk contest. deff cant wait for that.
ummmmmmm KOBE aka MVP envy me.......one of greatest dunkers.....go head talk crap....never seen any one do the around the back 360 on a fastbreak over someone...IN A GAME forget contests nuff respect to MJ VC DrJ the in game greatest dunkers over people!!!!! not to mention killer J clutch all day champion all star finals HOF included with the barrage of dunks.....fuck dunkin by yourself any man could beat the next a couple years after the dunk and come up with one better.....its all in the game
He was Kobe´s rival on highschool right? Pretty scary, looks like a shorter Vince Carter with even more raw power... It´s a real shame he never got to the NBA
u forgot The Human Highlight Film, Dominique Wilkins, and Clyde the Glide Drexler--i can only guess you were born after 1980, but the best two of all time, MJ and the DR, in that order.
why do people consider TDub a better dunker than Troy McCray?Troy can do every dunk TDub can,and many dunks TDub can't do as well.and he's a far more consistant dunker.
Jordan?????? i like your list but fuck carter, jordan was better than him and james whites dunks are good but they look so fuckin ugly, Terry is better than VC and james white
Jordan doesnt add up to his list cause he meant the best dunkers not players Jordan was good dunker for his time the best but now u cant compare him to anyone out there! You are so focus on Jordan and it means that some things u will never understand!
He did the Vince Carter 180 windmill dunk that was the one that stands out when I think back. he was the first person I have seen pull that. You have to understand that they had him listed at 6 feet 3 but he was closer to 6, 1. He was an unreal athlete even after he broke his neck. He went heads up with Corey Benjermen for the dunk contest senior year that was a show too
I remember Ronnie well I played at the Nike camp summer of 1994 and 1995 and this guy was doing some crazy shit in the dunk contest. He is the only guy that beat Vince at a Dunk contest. He had a 50 inch standing Vert no joke. The top 5 guys I have seen with ups are 1) Ronnie 2)Vince 3) Melvin Levitt 4) Baron Davis 5) Caleb Gervin.
Vince Carter is the greatest dunker ever. Not only does he do dunks that most athletes can't ever attempt to do at home, he does them in the most competitive basketball league in the world, against the world's best ballers.
"JrRyder88" You're right !!! Vince is the best dunker ever....and really, you can't compare this guy with Vince....he was dunkin' on best NBA shot blockers,he was doing creativ dunks....this guy is not even close to Vince...I gotta tell you...just take a look at some VC highlist and you'll se Im right,Vince is the best dunker in NBA history, this world will never get a dunker like Vince Carter !
Win or lose my rout to Dwight is the same and gonna get beasting in the next season and my strive for great vertical(and I know how and it's as easy as having 60 inch vertical at 800 pounds barbell squat rack. Look at Ac barch max.
He squat only 600 pounds in 3 reps and got 55 inch vertical opens a door for me!!!!!)
The series is still not over with though.
Believe in Dwight superman scored 40 point against 10 times better than kobe, Lebron!!!!!!
I love super athletic underated like Dwight!!!!!!
if he's better than lebron why did he lose his cool when they lost when kobe played them he never lost his cool and when he did lose 1 and only 1 game came back with a damn vengence lebrons mvp but kobes finals mvp which would rather have and don't give me that bullshit that lebron didnt have a team they swept their first and second round opp and they had best wins and the M.V.P in lebrick i mean lebron james and coach of the year. so make your case
did u just call dwight underrated? hes considered best center in the league. And you dont even know how to use adjectives. you cant say nast bad pathetic ring. thats not proper english
That's exactly what I happened to be surprised about Dwight beating the Celtics and I was exactly actually routing at Dwight ever since at the start of the season.
I simply just exchanged that fag cuz Dwight is more representing my beliefs that hops athleticism and TFB is enough to get great!!!!!!
Kobe's just getting too much of a maggot again!!!
I could play 10 times better and shoot better without working hard if I'm overratedly respected like that!!!
yo tgrosse u r wrong the guy made over 100 3 pointers in his high school career and had over 400 dunks blocks steals 350 assist and 500 rebounds the guy was good.
this is in high school too! believe what he can do in the nba! Give him a chance, this dude Fields is better than some nba players, he just needs the opportunity
I was in high school in chicago when fields and kg put on regular shows like they were the harlem globe trotters. It was two men playing with a bunch of boys, they were sick together, who cares about ifs and butts.... Fields didn't make it, that's that, wether car accident or IQ, or jumper.
I watched Dejaun Wagner play in HS along with Eddie Griffin. Wagner scored 100 points in a game and where is he now now. Playing ball in Poland!!! Omar Cook went to St. Johns and was one of the best PG in NCAA that year. He didnt even make the team. KG is 6'10 with a 15-20 foot jumper. Fields is a 6'3 extremly under sized SF. Iverson is 6'1 and was considered too small and he was a point guard. Everyone in the league can jump with Mr. Fields, and without a jumper....its the CBA...where he is now
I'm lost here, why do we think he would have been a star in the nba. He was in a wreck he didnt die he still had a chance. TJ Ford broke his neck and still plays in the NBA?? Fields was still able to play. He dominated the CBA, he can still play ball just not good enough for the NBA. Saying Lebron doesnt have fundementals just shows how little you know about the game. He has one of the best court vision in the league. Just because you are a beast in highschool does not equal NBA All Star.
Lebron is the best player in the NBA and I'm a Kobe Bryant/Los Angeles Laker fan plain and simple Lebron has Ball handling, passing and has developed into a solid mid-long range shooter and he can get to the basket whenever he wants just look at his numbers 36.2 points in the playoffs. just needs a solid power forward who can score almost as much as he can and a more athletic center.-He needs better players to win
kobe has been doing everything you've been saying for his whole career lebron jus found his 3pt shot and its not as un-reliable as before but still a liability remeber when kobe go and get 50 on anybody or when he averaged 35pts a game 2 less pts than micheal in his prime how can you say someones better than kobe when kobe has been doing this shit for years 36.2pts in the playoffs don't mean anything if you losing and thats the difference between kobe and lebron kobes a winner
Your right Kobe has been doing the some of the same things that Lebron is doing but not as fast as lebron and also I'm not saying lebron's career is comparable to Kobe but right now Lebron is the better player in the league Kobe is no longer as explosive as he used to be he relies strictly on that jump shot and to me has finally developed into a true "team player" plus outside of mo williams the cavs didn't get any consistency at the point or center position in the playoffs. its a team game.
So your blaming the accident why he didnt make it the league. Yet the wreck didnt stop him from joining the CBA and leading that league in scoring twice. He tried to enter the draft but didnt get drafted. Im not saying the kid cant play ball. He is extremly gifted athelete...ATHELETE. He had no outside game, no court vision, and no real basketball IQ. If you played a pick up game with Ronnie, yea your jaw would be on the floor. Just because you can dominate H.S. ball doesnt make an auto all NBA
Def misses the dunk at 37 sec, its not even close. Dont use the accident as an excuse all hes got is a vert. Vince Carter could out jump this guy along with at least 15 people in the league right now that i can name, Gerlad Green, Josh Smith...not to mention Kobe, Lebron. Hes just another Failed Hoop Dream
Dude you dont know shit bro. He and KG dominated Ill hoops that year. I lived in Chicago at that time. Ronnie Fields was in a severe car accident after graduating. There was a front page picture of him on the Chicago Tribune with a halo screwed into his head. After that everything dried up. He was certainly good enough to play NBA. Was not, by any stretch of the imagination, a failed hoop dream.
sorry dude, Ronnie was clearly good enough to eventually have an nba career. the dude broke his neck and couldn't play. Sorry i was there. And his basketball IQ was massive. He just wasn't that smart, couldn't get grades, and got a real bad break. But he was better then Kevin Garnett. And everybody that saw him knew it.
this is scary if u read this this far u will die in 10 days if u dont send to any 15 videos in 2 hours good luck hope u dont die !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
young cats here dont realize just how freakin sick Ronnie Fields was. He should have been in Kobes spot today in the league has the car wreck not hurt his carrer
I don't know about Kobe's spot. Ronnie was only like 6'2 and Kobe was and is still one hell of an athlete. Ronnie would have been a hybrid guard like a Steve Francis or AI. He would have been good but Kobe's level? I don't know about that.lol.
Man,I Heard About Ronnie Fields In The 5th Grade(Im In 8th Now).I Like Vince Carter,Shawn Kemp,And Others But Ronnie Fields Is Different,He Is A VERY Explosive Dunker!
janitor lol u got no idea what ur talking about.. ronnie fields was more highly recruited then GARNETT .. he was a good kid just got in2 a realllly bad car accident and hurt his knees he was never the same
Its funny cause Farragut played Thornton H.S. in the state regionals. Thorntorn's starting five had Antwan Randel El and Napoleon Harris on it. Those 2 cats play in the NFL.
my 7th grade basketball coach said he played against him in high school and he got dunked on by Ronnie he said it may have been the most memorable moment from high school lol
I whent to school with Ronnie so I got to see alot of him, I saw alot of games and got to meet him in a personal level. He will always be the best chitown baller. People forget that when KG was at Farragut it was still the Ronnie Field show.
This guy should go down as one of the top 5 hs ballers of all time. Unbelievable skills and athletic ability!!!!! Imagine going to school with this guy and how much fun the games were to watch. His career opportunity took a tragic turn with the car wreck and the rape bs. What a shame......
ronnie was blackballed... he recovered from the car accident 100% the rape case was bul#$%^t and the league felt he was going to be like a pac man jones type dude so he was blackballed .... its a system that wont let you in if you dont show them that you can be nba status better example(ron artest) but ronnie was and still is the truth he plaued in the cba.... he still got it but sometimes its just to late!!
I agree. I know for a FACT that Kevin Garnett, Quentin Richardson, Bobby SImmons, etc. didn't forget bout somebody like him. And he led the CBA in steal, ppg, etc. You can't ignore THAT...Unlessssss..
my manz ronnie feilds... i hope that the nba really regrets not puttin you in the paint to all who dont know this is the point gaurd to kevin garnett i watched this dude for 4 years and it was a great privilege...BIG UP RONNIE
Declining a dunk contest challenge doesn't really mean that much. I can't expect VC and Jordan etc... to accept every no name with hops who challenges them. Having said that, dude's got hops.
"Never made it" - I think he got hurt before the draft and made a career playing in secondary, and overseas Leagues. - He played with KG in High School so he's around retiring age - to late to make an NBA impact.
Averaging thirty four in high school is a great accomplishment, but scoring numbers in high school can be a little skewed. Al Jefferson was 42 and 18, hell Dajuan Wager averaged 42.5. It's impressive, but not the numbers can be a little deceiving.
Other superstars who have led the CBA in scoring: Sean Colson, Gaylon Nickerson, Jason Sasser, etc... Sorry but without the hops, he's just another guy with a decent ceiling that he probably would have never reached.
OK - I never said he would have been great in college. - I just said his talent level was more than just hops. - Which means he had shooting, dribbling, crossing, and slashing skills and well jumping the lane for steals skills. - I said he had skills - never said he could take Vince Carter one-on-one.
yeah points can def be skewed in high school but ronnie fields could have been great...played in a great basketball league in high school in chicago, against a ton of very good college players and he played with KG
I honestly think that Ronnie Fields is so much more than hops, not only did he lead in points, he leads in steals in the CBA....STEALS....Someone with hops that also has the speed to lead in steals and in high school he lead in rebounds over kevin Garnett...He scored more POINTS THAN KEVIN GARNETT... 2,619 points This guy would have been a legend if he was drafted. CBA obviously would have made him less weaker due to less competition. Ronnie Fields has many more talents in hops.100 3 pointers..
EJHampshire was a guard for an unknown HS team who got his shit pinned off the board by Ronnie Fields at 1:09 of the video. The fact that Ronnie still had enough hang time left to slap the top of the box after pinning his shit really upset EJ. Nowadays, after returning to his parents home from his job at Burger King he likes to hurl childish insults at anyone mentioning Fields. He was once regarded as a short, feminine version of John Amaechi.
Unfortunately there is not enough footage of Ronnie. But anyone with knowledge knows this guy had the greatest physical tools ever. A true story that is never mentioned is that when Ronnie was a freshman or sophomore at the Nike Camp, there was a game going filled with future NBA all stars. Some camp observers couldn't believe no one was watching that court. Instead, the players had all gathered to watch the Ronnie Fields Air Show in a game with unknown players.
"But anyone with knowledge knows this guy had the greatest physical tools ever." Ever heard of Michael Jordan, LeBron James, or Kobe? Man, u really are an idiot.
I am from Chicago. Jordan himself said that Fields had the greatest physical tools he had ever seen of any HS player. That's documented. So educate yourself before criticizing people. Physical tools and skills are two different things. Kobe and Michael had better skill sets but Lebron is debatable? If Lebron was 6'2" like Ronnie that guy wouldn't even be in the league. Suspect jumpshot and without the 6'8" 250 lb frame he would be a slightly above average player at best.
U are completely fucking stupid. Michael Jordan is a great talent evaluator, I mean look at what he has done with the Wizards and the Bobcats. Hahaha fucktard.
Yeah, he should have consulted you, obviously with your infinite knowledge, the NBA must be beating your door down. Dude go beat off to some Vince Carter highlights. Hopefully your mommy will catch you. Maybe she'll take away your computer priveleges and we wont have to hear your ignorant ramblings.
yes, i have been following dunking since the early 90s and yeah, lester earl was one of the best power dunkers. his dunks had so much intensity. it was like k-martin but with more flair. he did one of the sickest windmills ever in that hs96 contest. another underrated dunker is melvin levett in his prime.
ejhampshire and all other fuckdards out there. If you think this guy sucks and so on then just go do it better. Damn fat american tv-athletes. but of course, you never know who is best because there is always one chinese guy in wilderness who does it better.
i done with u cause u don't know shit about hoops. calling this guy the best dunker ever is like calling Danny Almonte the best pitcher ever after watching him in the little league world series
I never called him the best ever. I said "best dunker ever?" The question mark refers to potential.
I don't know anything about hoops? Let me know when SI features you, Slam and Dime contact you, ESPN hires you after ripping you off the same way TNT did.
As for dunking, let me know when TFB (best dunkers in the world) hires you to handle marketing.
You said "I done with U" but you replied again after writing this post.
You are at my channel/video! That's like going to my house and telling me to get out. Why don't you stop coming back.
Do I have to put up a sign that says "No immature 12 year old kids that speak on things they know nothing about but are too stubborn and ignorant to know it"
You can continue to talk in circles and regurgitating the same nonsense without answering any of my questions or supporting your argument but you are just making a fool out of yourself.

He was Kobe´s rival on highschool right? Pretty scary, looks like a shorter Vince Carter with even more raw power... It´s a real shame he never got to the NBA

He was damn nice, it was a real tragedy he got hurt in a car crash. For me though, my top five dunkers (NBA or not) goes:
1) Taurian Fontenette 6'2"
2) James White 6'7"
3) Vince Carter 6'6"
4) Terry Cournoyea 5'9"
5) Guy Dupuy 6'3"

u forgot The Human Highlight Film, Dominique Wilkins, and Clyde the Glide Drexler--i can only guess you were born after 1980, but the best two of all time, MJ and the DR, in that order.

clyde drexler is easily a top 5 game dunker.

why do people consider TDub a better dunker than Troy McCray?Troy can do every dunk TDub can,and many dunks TDub can't do as well.and he's a far more consistant dunker.

He went heads up with Corey Benjermen for the dunk contest senior year that was a show too
Mazmaz12 2 years ago

I love super athletic underated like Dwight!!!!!!
xergr 2 years ago
if he's better than lebron why did he lose his cool when they lost when kobe played them he never lost his cool and when he did lose 1 and only 1 game came back with a damn vengence lebrons mvp but kobes finals mvp which would rather have and don't give me that bullshit that lebron didnt have a team they swept their first and second round opp and they had best wins and the M.V.P in lebrick i mean lebron james and coach of the year. so make your case
syzgi 2 years ago
Every body love super athletic underrated like Dwight and no body cares about overrated players.
Kobe is bad that's sure 2-2 then that's not called vengeance.
They played bad basketball and that's what they get!
They got fined 4,000 $ each for complaining about the fouls they called for Dwight.
Enjoy your nasty bad pathetic ring.
xergr 2 years ago
did u just call dwight underrated? hes considered best center in the league.

Fields, and without a jumper....its the CBA...where he is now
tgrosse31 2 years ago
I'm lost here, why do we think he would have been a star in the nba. He was in a wreck he didnt die he still had a chance. TJ Ford broke his neck and still plays in the NBA?? Fields was still able to play. He dominated the CBA, he can still play ball just not good enough for the NBA. Saying Lebron doesnt have fundementals just shows how little you know about the game. He has one of the best court vision in the league. Just because you are a beast in highschool does not equal NBA All Star.
tgrosse31 2 years ago
And Lebron will prove that to you.
Hes gonna come and get the ring this year.
Lebron doesn't give a damn about fundamentals.
His fundamental suck cocks and no IQ out of his freaking High School Gym!

your a dumb fuck if you think
lebron has no IQ

They got beat with big LOL at the rockets without Yao Mcgrady artest by over 40 points using only ball movement :)
xergr 2 years ago
Lebron is the best player in the NBA and I'm a Kobe Bryant/Los Angeles Laker fan plain and simple Lebron has Ball handling, passing and has developed into a solid mid-long range shooter and he can get to the basket whenever he wants just look at his numbers 36.2 points in the playoffs. just needs a solid power forward who can score almost as much as he can and a more athletic center.-He needs better players to win
Alta626 2 years ago
You're suddenly making my point and you're contradicting me!!!??
xergr 2 years ago
How am I contradicting you!!
Alta626 2 years ago
kobe has been doing everything you've been saying for his whole career lebron jus found his 3pt shot and its not as un-reliable as before but still a liability remeber when kobe go and get 50 on anybody or when he averaged 35pts a game 2 less pts than micheal in his prime how can you say someones better than kobe when kobe has been doing this shit for years 36.2pts in the playoffs don't mean anything if you losing and thats the difference between kobe and lebron kobes a winner
syzgi 2 years ago
Your right Kobe has been doing the some of the same things that Lebron is doing but not as fast as lebron and also I'm not saying lebron's career is comparable to Kobe but right now Lebron is the better player in the league Kobe is no longer as explosive as he used to be he relies strictly on that jump shot and to me has finally developed into a true "team player" plus outside of mo williams the cavs didn't get any consistency at the point or center position in the playoffs. its a team game.
Alta626 2 years ago

Christmas800 2 years ago
Fuck you cunts!
What are you saying.
Athleticism Owns!
Look,
Fuck basketball and "IQ".
It's more than just hand eye coordination and pick and rolls and shit for open man when it's not needed!
Just imagine practicing jump shots in a 30 inch vertical from the 3 point line.
1000 30 inch vertical 3 point jumpers with a high arching shot every single day!
The ball is automatic with that.
Contested or not so don't give me this bull that it takes rockets science to get to the NBA!
xergr 2 years ago
So your blaming the accident why he didnt make it the league. Yet the wreck didnt stop him from joining the CBA and leading that league in scoring twice. He tried to enter the draft but didnt get drafted. Im not saying the kid cant play ball. He is extremly gifted athelete...ATHELETE. He had no outside game, no court vision, and no real basketball IQ. If you played a pick up game with Ronnie, yea your jaw would be on the floor. Just because you can dominate H.S. ball doesnt make an auto all NBA
tgrosse31 2 years ago
Def misses the dunk at 37 sec, its not even close. Dont use the accident as an excuse all hes got is a vert. Vince Carter could out jump this guy along with at least 15 people in the league right now that i can name, Gerlad Green, Josh Smith...not to mention Kobe, Lebron. Hes just another Failed Hoop Dream
tgrosse31 2 years ago
Dude you dont know shit bro. He and KG dominated Ill hoops that year. I lived in Chicago at that time. Ronnie Fields was in a severe car accident after graduating. There was a front page picture of him on the Chicago Tribune with a halo screwed into his head. After that everything dried up. He was certainly good enough to play NBA. Was not, by any stretch of the imagination, a failed hoop dream.
ALoveLostLife 2 years ago
sorry dude, Ronnie was clearly good enough to eventually have an nba career. the dude broke his neck and couldn't play. Sorry i was there. And his basketball IQ was massive. He just wasn't that smart, couldn't get grades, and got a real bad break. But he was better then Kevin Garnett. And everybody that saw him knew it.

I don't know about Kobe's spot. Ronnie was only like 6'2 and Kobe was and is still one hell of an athlete. Ronnie would have been a hybrid guard like a Steve Francis or AI. He would have been good but Kobe's level? I don't know about that.lol.

Declining a dunk contest challenge doesn't really mean that much. I can't expect VC and Jordan etc... to accept every no name with hops who challenges them. Having said that, dude's got hops.
Alexander102330945 3 years ago
He had more than just hops - averaged 34 points in high school and lead the CBA in scoring one year. -
onn1320 3 years ago
This guy is amazing...Where is he now?
havinfun1968 3 years ago
"Never made it" - I think he got hurt before the draft and made a career playing in secondary, and overseas Leagues. - He played with KG in High School so he's around retiring age - to late to make an NBA impact.
onn1320 3 years ago 2
Averaging thirty four in high school is a great accomplishment, but scoring numbers in high school can be a little skewed. Al Jefferson was 42 and 18, hell Dajuan Wager averaged 42.5. It's impressive, but not the numbers can be a little deceiving.
Other superstars who have led the CBA in scoring: Sean Colson, Gaylon Nickerson, Jason Sasser, etc... Sorry but without the hops, he's just another guy with a decent ceiling that he probably would have never reached.
Alexander102330945 3 years ago
OK - I never said he would have been great in college. - I just said his talent level was more than just hops. - Which means he had shooting, dribbling, crossing, and slashing skills and well jumping the lane for steals skills. - I said he had skills - never said he could take Vince Carter one-on-one.
onn1320 3 years ago
I said college - I meant to say NBA
onn1320 3 years ago
yeah points can def be skewed in high school but ronnie fields could have been great...played in a great basketball league in high school in chicago, against a ton of very good college players and he played with KG
yogi275 3 years ago 2
I honestly think that Ronnie Fields is so much more than hops, not only did he lead in points, he leads in steals in the CBA....STEALS....Someone with hops that also has the speed to lead in steals and in high school he lead in rebounds over kevin Garnett...He scored more POINTS THAN KEVIN GARNETT... 2,619 points This guy would have been a legend if he was drafted. CBA obviously would have made him less weaker due to less competition. Ronnie Fields has many more talents in hops.100 3 pointers..

EJHampshire Biggest Dumbass Ever?
EJHampshire was a guard for an unknown HS team who got his shit pinned off the board by Ronnie Fields at 1:09 of the video. The fact that Ronnie still had enough hang time left to slap the top of the box after pinning his shit really upset EJ. Nowadays, after returning to his parents home from his job at Burger King he likes to hurl childish insults at anyone mentioning Fields. He was once regarded as a short, feminine version of John Amaechi.
mozart6023 3 years ago
LOL! Is this true? John Amechi you got me crying
destmu 3 years ago
Unfortunately there is not enough footage of Ronnie. But anyone with knowledge knows this guy had the greatest physical tools ever. A true story that is never mentioned is that when Ronnie was a freshman or sophomore at the Nike Camp, there was a game going filled with future NBA all stars. Some camp observers couldn't believe no one was watching that court. Instead, the players had all gathered to watch the Ronnie Fields Air Show in a game with unknown players.
mozart6023 3 years ago
"But anyone with knowledge knows this guy had the greatest physical tools ever." Ever heard of Michael Jordan, LeBron James, or Kobe? Man, u really are an idiot.
ejhampshire 3 years ago
I am from Chicago. Jordan himself said that Fields had the greatest physical tools he had ever seen of any HS player. That's documented. So educate yourself before criticizing people. Physical tools and skills are two different things. Kobe and Michael had better skill sets but Lebron is debatable? If Lebron was 6'2" like Ronnie that guy wouldn't even be in the league. Suspect jumpshot and without the 6'8" 250 lb frame he would be a slightly above average player at best.
mozart6023 3 years ago
U are completely fucking stupid. Michael Jordan is a great talent evaluator, I mean look at what he has done with the Wizards and the Bobcats. Hahaha fucktard.
