The problem with this and the US version is that V8's, utility vehicles, muscle cars GM v Ford makes for a crap car culture. It's boring and lacks diversity. That's why the UK one is so successful. It's far more interesting.

Funny part about these comments is that Top Gear Australia is still owned by the BBC. In other word the BBC wanted to expand to Australia and make the decisions on running the show.. Yes the first Australian top gear eps are a little rusty but is much better now . Personally i find the new British top gear to be a little silly ,it used to be funny but now the challengers are just plain stupid
