If you find the space bar annoying then you go into controls and bind jump to mouse wheel. So when you move the mousewheel it jumps. That way you wont have to press the space bar. It depends on your preference though.

I know bunny hop for about a 5 months..and i know bunny hop going back...and if any one haves the problem with the speed after the first jump....the answer is eazy...you need to jump in the perfect time and you need to strafe...just practise/// learn bunny hop on this map... colourbhop or something liek that... :D

If he didnt mention anything, When you bind a key to some action you either go into options and change there or do it with the console, where you can change binds settings that you cannot do in the options. as for instance the Mouseweel-jump bind:

Go into options then on KEYBOARD, there find JUMP, change that key to either WHEELUP , OR DOWN ( scroll up or down, choose what way you like by testing it!) There is a bind.

Nope. Initially you start running (W) but once you take that first jump you don't hit W.
