i'm tired of people calling Paul Washer an extremist when the kind of "extremism" they speak of is the same as that practiced by Jesus. Jesus was perfect and told us to be imitators of Him, the perfect model. this requires some extreme counting of costs and extreme sacrifice of the will of the flesh.

an "extremist" is someone who takes the concepts of the Bible beyond the meaning of the Bible, however Paul Washer takes the meaning of the Bible to its fullest extreme. that is what it means to be a true follower of God. simply because you are not willing to make the sacrifices in your life necessary to be made holy by the Word of God doesn't give you the right to label someone who is, an extremist.

@eksit35one A little bit, but he has a point. You can't become OBSESSIVE about your hobbies. You have to be able to stop and do whatever needs to be done. I'm 13, so I'm not in a position to "practice what you preach", but I still understand what he means. He's a little extremist, but he does have a point.

@crytogod I am not sure why you are picking on Calvinists. I'm a calvanist and I LOVE this series... NOR is Calvanism the cause of the frozen chosen... lol I like that phrase and have not heard it much. I think that is more the cessationists.
