At my extended family christmas we have two eggnog bowls, one for the people who can't or won't drink and another for everybody else. The tradition is sneaking the alcohol in so no one sees you do it,and no other alcohol is allowed. The normal eggnog bowl gets refilled 6-7 times. I have never in my 18 years seen the alcohol one get refilled with eggnog. The alcohol one is always full and 3-4 times more people drink from it.
