After seeing this video which uses very little runway, and the other videos of the crashes that are always going the other direction, why does anyone land towards the beach? It would take a pretty strong tailwind to make the tradeoff worth it.
Thats one amazing clip! 5/5 - one of the best aviation vids on the tube. Love the part from 1:02 -> end! Not the best quality etc. but U caught the action --> ALL THAT COUNTS!

Is that a C-208 (Caravan)? Sweet times. Good to teach students forward slips to landings, and crosswind takeoffs/landings
