  • whats the difference between the 800 and the 2600?

    alsowhich was first?

  • @991woot119 The Atari 800 was a line of home computers released by Atari. Before the PC became big some companies released computers that were built into a keyboard. The Atari 2600/VCS was the first cartridge-based console to really catch on.

The Atari 2600 was released in '77 and I think the Atari computer line was released in '79.

  • @Tork110 yeah I just looked through some videos and saw it. I wish I could go to like 1980-1990

  • Looks a lot like PAC and pall

  • @bland9876 Well Pac and Pal was the sequel to this game which interestingly enough was originally was the planned sequel/official sequel to Pac-man and not Mrs. Pac-man which was not a sequel to Pac-man nor was it a officially a Pac-man game when it first came out. It was a rom hack of pac-man that Midway bought, re-skinned and sold as a sequel to Pac-man since Namco was taking too long with their official sequel Super Pac-man.

  • This is Super Pac-Man! Lol I've gotten to level 13 before.

  • What fresh insanity is this? lol

  • this looks fucking dope.

  • This is my favorite version of all the Pacman games. I remember playing this all the time at 7-11 (when they use to actually have arcade games in them!)

  • I think they still play Pacman in Japanese arcades.

  • this is on namco museum for playstation! good times.

  • funny, i have the same version on my phone

  • I have a PnP TV Game with pacman and it has a super pacman game on it

  • a prime example of beating a dead horse with a stick

  • I cannot find a version of Super Pac-Man at Atariage.com.

  • @Rockmangames

I just added the link to the description.

  • @Tork110

    Thanks, Tork110!

  • This game needs to be made.

  • @MegaRageguy this game has been made. i owe it on a plug and play. its actually pretty fun to play

  • Look kids, this is why you shouldn't never smoke crack and be working at a Game Company.

  • 800? It has graphics like 7800.

  • u r like a pro or somthing on dis

  • Is this real?

  • It was packaged with ms.pacman for the gameboy.

  • Best. Graphics. Ever.

  • looks really hard

  • hah wow, whats up with the woowoowoowoowoowoowoo! thats annoying

  • @NinetyNate the ghost

  • Pacman on hgh?

  • everything was "super" back then lol but this doesnt look that bad

  • eat them damn walls packman

  • yeah, eat those tomatoes!!!

  • this is soooooooooooooooooooo awesome!!!!!

  • i played this at a cool arcade by me called fun zone

  • this version is cool, i like the idea of having to get keys to have acces to the super dots and when you do get it you dont have to have the keys

  • beats pacman for the atari 2600 doesnt it ;)

  • @sonikku1471 never ever it beat thats pac man fort atari 2600,that was one of the best versions :) ,this one is a cheap copy its never official released...!

  • looks complicated

  • Namco museums

  • this is too easy...

  • I think this game is also one of Namco museums playable games.

  • You mean... what Namco museum? The museum in Pac-man world 2? The game boy advance museum? Theres millions of them (and I only gots a plug n' play version of this).

  • I think he means Namco Museum Volume 2 for the PlayStation, but there were several more Namco Museum compilations.

  • Tork110 is correct. I have it on the playsation and it is pretty hard and cool.....however I did not know there where many diffrent museums! O.O

  • This game is not that hard! I got to lvl 7 (the corn lvl I think) on my plug 'n' play joystick at my house! (and that is the hardest thing to hold still EVER!)

  • its on the Namco Museum Remix for the Wii

  • I have that too!

  • That pacman is shit compared to the origional savvy?

  • OR you can just get it in your local supermarket by plug it in and play tv games

  • you can go into the ghost house in this

  • the reason he says never released is because the DS game dint come out before april 7 2007

  • only original pacman for me

  • i played this on my DS

  • Not released? I remember playing this.

  • He didn't say the game itself was never released. He said this Atari 800 version was never released.

  • I think this is the unreleased 5200 version as I have this on a 5200 emulator. The 800 version was slightly different.(music was a tad slower)

  • this was when pac-man was going on a diet.

  • wow i remember playing this..

  • I dont see why it wasnt relesed. it looks finished

  • it was released ive played it i forgot where think i played it on an o game system its pretty hot

  • Wow Pac-man has been taking serious steroids when he ate the yellow orb.

  • wait was the order Atari 800, Atari 2600, then Atari 5200?

  • Well, judging by the way the numbers go...

  • pretty good for an atari 800 game.

  • 0:25 - funny music (implemented in game).

  • i have this game, it is its own console, also has 3 other pack man games on it

  • lol thats awsome pac man + lady bug.

  • haha thats cute. i wanna play :)

  • I know I've played this game before. Also, has anyone ever played Pac-Attack? Pac-Man meets Tetris, and it isn't easy once you get to level 70+. (My friend accidentally discovered the password for the levels 70+)

  • that is kool you can Play pac-man at skuadup. com no joke

  • I've played the real Super Pac-Man. BTW have you heard the story behind the name. Originally it was going to be called Puck-Man, but people kept on changing the P to an F. Also the creator got the idea for Puck_Man when he was looking at a pizza with a slice or 2 missing.

  • that's... thats a weird story. hey, at least it's pac-man and not fuck-man

  • @therealfalcore1

And in a video found in the gallery of PacMan World 3, it is shown to be a pepperoni pizza that inspired this.

Oh, the usless video game knowledge I know. I ought to start my own game show, damnit.

  • @therealfalcore1 WRONG! They didn't want Americans to "modify" the letters by changing P to an F. They didn't have that bad word in Japan. PuckMan came from a Japanese slang word called Pakku Pakku, which means the moving of opening and closing of a mouth.

  • @therealfalcore1 And the Pizza character idea is a RUMOR. Here are Toru Iwatani (the creator of Pac-Man)'s exact quotes:

"In Japanese the character for mouth (kuchi) is a square shape. It's not circular like the pizza, but I decided to round it out."

  • u cn buy the cabnet for 30 grand my skating ring has it but its like super old

  • 30 grand haha

  • the cherry symbolizes virgin pussy....

  • looks easy

  • i played the better version

  • excellent programming

  • I played this prototype at this place b4! it sucked though

  • Lol I'd love to do that on the regular Pac-man lol =)

  • wow ive never heard of that but it looks awesomee!!!!!

  • this game looks fun!

  • that is beast

  • This is not a prototype; it's the Atari version or something.

  • It's the Atari Prototype, so you were half right. Another thing, this game seems quite complete. Probably Jack Tramiel's fault, seeing as he cancelled all game development in fear of a major pummeling from a waning video game market. I personally Atari would have stood tall at the time with games like this.

  • THINK. I personally THINK Atari would have stood tall. I forgot to add a word in. :/

  • wicked

  • This game did at least have arcade cabinets made for it.

Living next to the second largest arcade in the United States helps, of course.

  • Wicked!

  • I ve got this for my cell phone

  • bitchin! :)

  • Do you have to buy the ROM?

  • no its for free

  • They actually did make this game as for Game Boy, I remember playing it.

  • NICE

  • THATS SICK

  • kool

  • that waz kewl

  • Tight

  • Wow...aliens, kidnapping a princess, different univerces, romance novels, planet jupiter, torture,

    DUDE WTF IS WRO--

    QUE CONO ES TU PROBLEMA?

  • LOL

  • lolz and thats where knowing spanish REALLY helps

  • Wow! Looks like a NES game. Lucky I have the GBC version.

  • I actually downloaded this on my cell phone a few months ago. Different graphics, but exact same concept.

  • rofl lagg @ 00:37 (- see the pink ghost right)

  • OMG. Pac-Man's a beast! screw finding the keys he just friggin eats the walls! Pac-Man's got some serious balls!

  • yeah.. balls on a ball (good idea)

  • interesting

  • I still think it's cool

  • I remember a time when i thought that game was cool.

  • Not bad at all... very close to the original.

  • Wild.

  • nice lol

  • Have a Pac-tastic day!! :)

  • Was it really never released? I am 100% sure I owned SuperPacMan for my atari 65xe. Maybe not the same version, or maybe it was the prototype?

It was ages ago, but I know for sure I had this game

  • I played this at a restaruant before lol

  • what?

  • what does that have to do with this game at all?

  • I played this at the arcade!

  • if you want to know your console history, come over to my channel to see the True Videogame Story of companies like Atari and all of your favorites!

  • I think it was also a prototype for the 5200 as well. This of course was the TRUE sequel to Pac-Man as Namco was creating on it's own while Bally/Midway had distributed it's own called "Ms. Pac-Man" (story about that is probably up on Wiki anyway).

  • omg i was waiting for it to start then i pressed start thinking it would start the game, and then the game started after i pressed start. O_O it responded to my command yay!

  • when u eat a bomb it sounds like its saying puta ..........puta puta puta XD

  • LOLZ YES.

  • Eat all the apples pacman lol! Just make sure to check for worms first before biting the apples pacman! xD XD

  • I had this game for my cell phone. It doesn't beat the original Pac-Man IMO.

  • Looks great! I was one of the few people that actually enjoyed the arcade game :|

  • Darrylb500, I'm in that boat, too. :o) For a good hand-held version of this, Ms. Pac-Man Color edition for Game Boy Advance also featured this game. It was very well translated.

  • I had this game for the 800xl. It was fantastic!

  • yeah, they have this for MAME

  • LOL in the beginning, why did the ghosts go right through pacman?3 letters,L.O.L!

  • Because when Super Pac-Man is super, he can go through anything. I think this game was cancelled because of the 1984 Video Game Crash.

  • It was :)

  • What do you mean by "the prototype has been recently finished"? Who finished it?
