CNN: DeMint Discusses Health Care Debate

I wonder why AFL-CIO and other unions are showing up to the health care debates....there is a provision in the bill that EXCLUDES unions from government health care...along with Congress.

If Obama and Congress thinks this is the best health care option he should include ALL Americans, even Congress and Unions.

Demint tells several lies:

"Democrats... are insistent on a single payer system." "To pay for it, they're going to cut Medicare." "The Lewin Group and other outside analysts say that the between 80 to 100 million Americans will *lose* their employer-based health insurance..."

"We don't need a 'cash-for-clunkers' type Medicare program. they ran out of money in a week."

None of the statements reflect *anything* that has been proposed in the House or Senate bills or from the White House.

Senator DeMint is spot on. We do not need reform, we need repeal of government run medical care.
